You make my heart melt

** 3/8/17 Top 3 at Christmas at Sweet Stampin’! **

Hi everyone! You’ll remember about a week ago I shared that I’m guesting for Jingle Belles this fortnight. My theme is Let the Flakes Fall Where They May and my challenge to you is to create a project that includes snow – snowflakes, snowmen, snowy landscape, etc. Well, I’m  back with a CAS mid-challenge project and it really doesn’t get any easier than this!

This adorable card was created with a scrap – the bottom portion of a 12 x 12 sheet that was leftover from a Christmas project. I cut it down, stamped the greeting and layered it on red cardstock.

I used a Marvy Uchida Snow marker on the snowflakes. First time I’ve used it and OMG – I love this stuff! You ‘write’ with it and then hit it with your heat tool, and watch it poof up! What fun! :D

I decorated the inside with the last remaining strip of that snowmen scrap (yep, I used it ALL), stamped the greeting with a snowflake and layered the panel on the red cardstock. I really am loving how this turned out! It always amazes me how something so simple can pack such a big punch! ;)

  1. i already LOVED every single thing about this, but when i found out that the snowmen were a SCRAP it made it EVEN BETTER! brilliant use of supplies as well as just a beautiful all-round card! (plus there’s ONE MORE little guy INSIDE the card!!!) <3 thank you so much for being our guest at JINGLE BELLES, it has been a pleasure!!!!
