Howdy, crafty friends! A new challenge is live this morning over at Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog and I’ve been chomping at the bit to share this DT inspiration project with you for MLCCB #6 – January Anything Christmas Goes! I made several of these pop-up snowman cards last year and they were such a hit, I made a few more this year to add to my Christmas card stash!
This is a Karen Burniston die set and these are so cool – all the work is done for you! You just cut the pieces and put them together! I used a cool blue cardstock panel on a red card base with white snowflakes, snow banks and snowmen (one on the front and one on the inside). The snowmen are wearing top hats embellished with silver glitter paper and a snowflake with a gemstone.
The snowman on the inside is wearing a ‘scarf’ of knotted ribbon, has coal buttons made from Crystal Drops, and pops up when the card is opened. This couldn’t be any cuter!
And here’s a close-up of this most adorable little guy…
