Hi everyone! Hope you’re having a good week! The January Anything Goes With Dies Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers! Several weeks ago I was invited to join the HLS Die Team and of course I said yes… I have a ton of dies that have gotten pretty lonely not being used, lol! So needless to say, I’m absolutely thrilled to share my first HLS DT inspiration project with you today!
I’ve decided to create a set of ‘awesome’ cat cards (as you’ll see by the inside sentiment) and this card is the first in the series. It features some adorable cat die cuts created with a new set of dies as well as a stitched border on some pretty patterned paper. So stay tuned for a few more!
I cut a strip of some awesome cheetah print paper which I adhered to the bottom front of the card base, rounded the corners and ran it through my Big Shot with a plain stitched border die across the top edge of the patterned paper. I created some cat die cuts and affixed three of them to the front, and then stamped a sentiment.
I decorated the inside with a coordinating piece of patterned paper, stamped the ‘awesome’ sentiment and affixed another cat die cut.
Here’s one more look… so adorable! Can’t wait for the next one!
