Merry Christmas Gift Box

10/16/19 Winner at A Bit More Time To Craft!
10/31/19 Best Technique Winner at Classic Design Team Open Challenge Blog!

Hi everyone! It October 1st and it’s time for another fun challenge over at Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog! I’m thrilled to share my DT inspiration project for MLCCB #15 – October Anything Christmas Goes. I created a fun Christmas gift box with coordinating bow using my We R Memory Keepers 1-2-3- Punch Board. A fun time was had by all, lol!

I used paper and stickers from A Perfect Christmas Collection by Echo Park for this gift box. I embellished the sentiment sticker on the top with some smoke-colored rhinestones and a tiny bit of alcohol marker coloring.

I adhered strips of the red and black ‘flannel’ paper down the sides and bottom to resemble wrapped ribbon. I used a tiny round magnet closure.

And here’s one final look at the inside, complete with another sentiment sticker. I’m totally loving how this turned out! Hmmmm… wonder what I should put in it?!

I’d love to enter this gift box into the following challenges:
A Bit More Time To Craft: #101 – Anything Goes
A Perfect Time To Craft Open Challenge: #10 – Anything Goes
Christmas At Sweet Stampin’ Challenge Blog: September Anything Goes with optional Christmas Decorations
Classic Design Team Challenge Blog: #10 – Anything Goes
The Creative Crafters: #20 – Anything Goes

Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: Echo Park A Perfect Christmas Collection (paper and stickers)
Ink: Studio 71 alchohol marker- YG7
Accessories:  WRMK 1-2-3 Punch Board, Darice smoke rhinestones, tiny round magnet

I hope you’ve enjoyed this Christmas gift box and will link up an ‘anything Christmas goes’ project with us this month! It’s never too early to get started on those cards, gifts and/or home decor! Thanks for stopping by and we’ll see you again soon! ;)

Scrappy hugs,

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
