It’s raining CATS and DOGS!

I really appreciate your support! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a fun cat and dog card inspired by our rescued feline fur babies. My husband and I are ‘crazy cat people’ and we have ten, and all but one are rescued. We love dogs too (in fact, we love ALL kinds of animals) but have found that cats tend to be easier if we decide to take a weekend trip. I created a top fold card base and a slightly smaller background panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. I created a computer-generated sentiment which I printed on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and adhered across the top of the panel, then put a strip of Weather Washi Tape just beneath it. Then the fun began adding Cat Quicklet Eyelets and Dog Quicklet Eyelets in a ‘raining-down’ fashion. I’ve never used quicklets before and these were so easy to set with a ballpoint pen! I adhered a piece of light blue cardstock to the card base, then adhered a piece of light blue craft foam to the back of the panel, and adhered the panel to the card base.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of the washi tape and the light blue cardstock used on the front, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and layered the panel on the light blue cardstock.
