What the Cluck?

Happy Saturday to you, my friends! Hope you had a great week and you’re doing something fun this weekend! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a not-so-ordinary baby card using awesome brads, washi tape and enamel dots! Those who know me know that I have a warped sense of humor which is evident in this card!

I still had these brads and stamp set out on my desk from another card I made which will be showcased in a few months, and I couldn’t help myself… I had to make another card with them! I created a top folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and went with a yellow and red color combo which I thought complimented the chicken nicely. The dotted cardstock is some of my favorite so I used a scrap of yellow and white dotted across the bottom of the Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock background panel, topped it with a stripof Glitter Black Washi Tape and then added a thin strip of red cardstock. I added one Chicken Brad, stamped the sentiment in black ink and layered the panel on the red cardstock. I adhered the panel to the card base, and the finishing touch was the addition of several Black Enamel Dots.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with leftover strips of yellow dotted and red cardstock used on the front, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and layered the panel on the red cardstock.

And one more peek… this cracks me up! I love it!
