More Mother’s Day cards

Hi everybody! I hope your week is off to a good start! I’ve popped in this evening to share a few more commissioned Mother’s Day cards. Hope you don’t get too tired of seeing them! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I have to tell you that I’ve actually been dreaming about cut files of all things for the last couple weeks, lol! My Scan N Cut has gotten lonely over the past year since stepping down from Simply Crafty SVGs DT, so I decided to play yesterday and today. I’ll share those projects after I take some photos! But these Mother’s Day cards feature one of the most beautiful stamped and die cut florals I think I’ve ever seen. It’s a bundle from Altenew and new in my stash. I ended up making four similar cards – light red, pink, dark red, and teal – and they all turned out so pretty.

The 5-1/2″ square top-folding card bases were cut from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with patterned paper layers. I added the stamped and die cut images, a sentiment strip (sentiment stamp from Pretty Pink Posh) and a few white flat-back pearls to each. That’s it – super simple but powerful design with these big bold images.

I cut the inside panels from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Habanero 80# cardstock, CutCardStock Raspberry Ice 80# cardstock, CutCardStock Basis 80# Teal cardstock. I embellished each of the white panels with a strip of the patterned paper used on the front and a narrow strip of matching cardstock, stamped the sentiment in black ink (the same stamp from Inspired By Stamping) on all four cards), and layered the panels on the matching cardstock layers. I absolutely love the inside sentiment – made me think of how truly blessed I was to have my wonderful mother until she left us in 2006.

And one more look… so loving how these turned out! The lady who commissioned me to make all the Mother’s Day cards again this year to sell in her store told me that these were some of the first ones sold! ;)
