Hello, my crafty peeps! Time is flying by and a new challenge has launched this morning over at Love To Craft Challenge Blog. I’m happy to share my DT inspiration project for LTCCB #33 – April Anything Goes – an Arrow Fold friendship card! Anyone who knows me knows that I absolutely love fancy folds and this one rates right up there with the best! My inspiration came from Sam, HERE. Sam is one of my newer YouTube subscriptions and she’s fantastic!

I used Stampin’ Up paper and cardstock, and a new Hero Arts stamp set. I used a couple dotted circle dies for the layered sentiment, some pretty flowers and a twine bow, a few flags embellished with white dots, and a filigree charm.

Here’s a shot of the inside. I’m thrilled with how this turned out. This paper is so pretty! I did embellish the centers of most of the flowers with my white Gelly Roll pen to make them pop.

And one more look… such a cool fold!

A Real Classic

Hiya, crafty peeps! Yep, the time is flying by – welcome to April! Do you have any April Fool’s jokes planned for anyone, lol?! A new challenge is live this morning over at Mix It Up Challenge Blog and I’m happy to share my DT inspiration project for MIUCB #24 – Anything Goes + Black & White Plus One Color. Remember, all of our challenges are ‘anything goes’ and we offer a different technique twist each month to inspire you, but the twist is not required to play! So come on over and join us!

I had already created a birthday card for the hubs several months ago but I’m thinking I may give him this one instead. His birthday is in June so I have a couple months to decide which one to give him. All stamps used on the front of this card are from Blank Page Muse. I used green with the black and white, and layered all the panels on black. I cut the sentiment with a dotted circles die and layered it on black foam.

I kept the inside relatively simple with stamped sentiments from Sparkle N Sprinkle on a layered panel.
