Thinking of You Notelets (set of 8)

Hi friends! Happy Tuesday – hope your week is off to a great start! I have an awesome project to share today – a set of eight notelets created with some gorgeous Ephemoire digital vintage Cigarette Trading Cards. Back in the day, tobacco manufacturers issued trading cards to stiffen packaging and to advertise their brands. I’m not a smoker but I thought these images were so pretty!

I grabbed one of my favorite 12 x 12 paper pads and selected eight different colors and patterns, cut background panels and adhered one to each 5″ x 3-1/2″ card base. I printed the trading cards on 60# Hammermill copy paper (which yields a very nice print quality) and trimmed them down. I adhered each image to a brown cardstock layer and then to a white gold metallic cardstock layer, and then adhered the layered panels to the card bases.

I cut panels of cream cardstock for the inside, stamped a simple sentiment on each in brown ink, and adhered one to the inside of each card base.

And one more peek… absolutely loving how these turned out! Pretty elegant cigarette ladies, lol!
