breakfast poured

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! Hope you’ve had a great week! I’m popping in this morning to share a project I created specifically for the Summer Coffee Lover’s Bloghop! Dare 2B Artzy is a Super Sponsor again this time and I’m really excited about participating in this hop as I wasn’t able to participate in the Spring one. There are a ton of sponsors, all offering amazing prizes!

I created a fun ‘to-go’ coffee cup shaped card using Dare 2B Artzy Bright Pumpkin and Pomegranate papers, Hug in a Mug stamp set, Totally Black ink and the tiny coffee bean die from the Mug die set. This is the second coffee cup shaped card I’ve made and I’m so smitten! Fun, fun, fun! :)

The front and inside sentiments are from the Dare 2B Artzy Hug in a Mug stamp set. I cut the front sentiment with a new MFT Stitched Mini Scalloped Rectangles die and embellished it with several tiny flat-back pearls. Love my stitched dies!

I stamped a couple rows of coffee beans on the bottom half of the cup, and adhered several die cut coffee beans randomly across both rows for a little interest. I also used a piece of the strip from the top of the Bright Pumpkin paper which I embellished with several more of those tiny flat-back pearls. I always tell everyone to save those strips and use them on your projects because they coordinate perfectly with either side of the paper… that’s why they’re there! ;)

I kept the inside simple, as I usually do, with a stamped sentiment and a couple of those adorable die cut coffee beans. Loving how this turned out!

Cardstock/Paper: SU Whisper White cardstock, Dare 2B Artzy Bright Pumpkin and Pomegranate paper (both from the Artzy Doodles Variety Paper Pack)
Stamps: Dare 2B Artzy Hug in a Mug stamp set
Ink: Dare 2B Artzy Totally Black ink, Memento Espresso Truffle ink
Dies/Punches: Dare 2B Artzy Mug die, MFT Die-namics Stitched Mini Scalloped Rectangle die
Accessories:  Inky Impressions Butterscotch Flat Back Pearls

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing this project, and good luck if you link up a project in this amazing hop! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you soon!

Scrappy hugs,

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
