Christmas Memories mini album

Hello, crafty peeps! I hope you’re having a good day! I’m excited to share my Ephemoire inspiration project with you this morning. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to head over to the Ephemoire Etsy Shop to check out all the amazing digital printables… there are collage sheets, digital papers, journal kits, clip art and mixed media printables, and the print quality is awesome!

I’ve been playing with some pretty awesome vintage Christmas holiday background papers and used all 20 letter-sized digital papers in Peppermint Stick #1, Peppermint Stick #2, Peppermint Stick #3 and Peppermint Stick #4 to create a sweet little mini album! OMG, talk about some prissy fun – and in one of my favorite color combos of pink and green! Swoon! ;)

2019_1019031a

I printed all 20 papers on 60# copy paper, trimmed them and then paired what I wanted to use for backgrounds and for pockets on each page. I cut the scalloped album pages with my Scan N Cut and then bound them with my Zutter Bind It All. I picked out a variety of pink and green ribbons and cut several lengths from each to attach to the binding (and tags later on).

2019_1019017a

I created a shaker element for the front with glitter inside. I typed the sentiment on the computer and cut it along with the acetate and frame with stitched circle dies, then attached a small bow.

2019_1019029a

I created my own stitched square cut file that I used to cut the background layers with my Scan N Cut, and then cut three different pocket designs with my Scan N Cut. I embellished each pocket with Washi Tape.

Finally, I cut simple tags from textured double-sided cardstock and added punched scallop detail at the bottom of each one. I adhered a plain square panel for journaling and/or photos, and attached some ribbon with my Tiny Attacher before tucking them into the pockets.

Hi friends! I hope you’re having an awesome weekend! I’m super stoked to share another Ephemoire inspiration project with you this month. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to head over to the Ephemoire Etsy Shop to check out all the amazing digital printables… there are collage sheets, digital papers, journal kits, clip art and mixed media printables, and the print quality is awesome!

As mentioned in my last post, I’ve been playing with the Is It Autumn Yet #1 this month, and using that paper collection along with Is It Autumn Yet #2, Is It Autumn Yet #3 and Is It Autumn Yet #4 letter size digi papers, I created an Autumn-themed stationery box that holds six cards and envelopes, six tags, three trifold notelets with belly bands, a lined book, a postage stamp pocket and a pen. This is the second stationery box I’ve made and I thoroughly enjoyed it! This version was highlighted in a Splitcoast Stampers newsletter a couple years ago HERE and I’m so glad I bookmarked it!

Before I show you the contents, here are some shots of the outside of the box. It’s amazing to me how much fits in this box! ;)

Now for the fun stuff! Here is the lined book that can be used to record birthdays, addresses or whatever your heart desires, a pocket for postage stamps, and a handy-dandy pen! I attached the book with two small velcro circles on the back side so it can be removed to add extra pages when necessary, and the next pic shows the extra pages I included. ;)

Here are the six tags, each with a different paper pattern.

Here are the three 3″ x 3″ trifold notes, each with a belly band, and the next pic shows one of them opened up.

Here are the six cards with envelopes, three birthday and three thank you.

And another shot of the set. I’m super happy with how this turned out! The digital papers in these four sets are just amazing and would do ANY project justice! Swoon and drool! LOL!

Autumn High Heel & Clutch

9/30/19 Best Technique Winner at Classic Design Team Challenge Blog!
10/11/19 Top 3 at Not Just Cards Challenges!

Hello, my crafty friends! I hope you’re having a great weekend! I’m really excited to share my Ephemoire inspiration project with you this morning. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to head over to the Ephemoire Etsy Shop to check out all the amazing digital printables… there are collage sheets, digital papers, journal kits, clip art and mixed media printables, and the print quality is awesome!

I’ve been playing with the Is It Autumn Yet #1 letter size digi papers and created an awesome high heel with matching clutch. Of course, these will hold a place of honor in my paper shoe collection! I’ve had this high heel shoe template in my stash for a number of years. I really love the shoe’s elegance and had a hard time picking just one paper from this collection to make it. I settled on the golden color print and so glad I did. I had small paper flowers in my stash that match perfectly! ;)

2019_0908006a

I designed the clutch myself from cardstock, covered it in the golden print paper, and added a couple flowers. It’s not quite big enough for a gift card (would have been too large in comparison to the shoe), but a folded check or money will easily fit into the pouch. It has a small velcro closure.

2019_0908007a

One more look… super happy with how this project turned out! Love, love, love ALL the digital papers in this collection – they are absolutely gorgeous!

Violets & Bees Mini Album

Hello, my crafty friends! I hope you’re having a good day! I’ve popped in this morning to share my Ephemoire inspiration project with you. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to head over to the Ephemoire Etsy Shop to check out all the amazing digital printables… there are collage sheets, digital papers, journal kits, clip art and mixed media printables, and the print quality is awesome! I’ve been playing with the Violets & Bees #1 Scrapbook Papers Letter Size, Violets & Bees #2 Scrapbook Papers Letter Size, Violets & Bees Printed Washi Tape, Violets & Bees Ephemera Collage Sheet and Violets & Bees Mini Card and Envelope Set, and created a mini album. Violets & Bees is a FABulous collection and needless to say, I’ve had a blast!

2019_06120013a

Green and purple is one of my all-time favorite color combos. I printed the papers and mini cards and envelopes, and trimmed them all. I printed the washi tape and ephemera sheets twice, and fussy cut all the elements. I created the album base from white cardstock, punched three holes on each page, and also created the reinforcements for the holes using two circle punches. I adhered a different paper to each page of the album, created assorted pockets, and positioned all the elements where I wanted them, one page at a time, and when I was happy with the placement, I adhered everything down.

There are 12 pages and each page contains one or two tags tucked into a pocket, ready for journaling or photos. All the tags have ribbon pulls, and I added skinny Washi tape and dot sparklers to each page. Really loving how this turned out!

For Someone Special

Hello, my crafty friends! I hope you’re having a good crafty day! I’m super stoked to share my Ephemoire inspiration project with you this morning. If you haven’t already done so, be sure to head over to the Ephemoire Etsy Shop to check out all the amazing digital printables… there are collage sheets, digital papers, journal kits, clip art and mixed media printables, and the print quality is awesome!

I’ve been playing with various papers from Floral Field Notes #1, Floral Field Notes #2 and Floral Field Notes #3, all letter size, and created a four-drawer easel card. This is only the second one of these I’ve made – the first one was back in August of 2015 for another DT I was on at the time, and if you’d like to take a peek, it’s HERE. I have to say, I like this one better, lol! ;)

2019_07200017a

I created the base from heavy cardstock so it would keep it’s shape, then cut all the pieces to go around the outside of the box, the top of the box and the easel. The sentiments are computer-generated and I cut them with dies. I added flowers and a charm from my stash, and created the leaves with a punch.

I lined all the drawers and added flower brads for the drawer pulls. ;)

Here’s one more look, open and closed… loving how this one turned out! So fun! ;)

Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: American Crafts Chocolate, Vanilla, Sunflower and Leaf cardstock, Ephemoire Floral Field Notes #1, Floral Field Notes #2 and Floral Field Notes #3, all letter size
Dies/Punches: Crafter’s Companion Die’sire ‘Ruth’ Create-A-Card die set, Sizzix Dotted Rectangle dies, Stampin’ Up Leaf punch

Shabby Chic Thank You note cards

Hello, my crafty friends! I hope you’ve had an awesome week! And there’s an awesome sale going on right now… 50% off most everything in the shop… so what are you waiting for?!

I’ve been playing with the Pretty In Pink Printable Papers Letter Size and created a set of 10 shabby chic thank you cards. One can never have too many thank you cards in their stash! ;)

2019_0619006a

I’m a cardmaker at heart, dubbed “The Card Queen” many years ago and recently re-dubbed the same by an online crafting friend, so when I saw these papers I knew what I had to do. ;) These papers are absolutely gorgeous!

2019_0619002a

Each card features torn pink vintage rose papers with either green striped or green peeled paint paper seen underneath, gold foil ‘thank you’ elements layered on punched circles, and a few tiny flat-back pearls.

2019_0619003a

There are five papers in the set, so I printed each of the floral sheets twice, created background pieces, and tore each one a little differently for variety.

2019_0619004a

I created a ‘thank you’ sentiment for each card using a gold foil sticker layered on a punched circle, which I placed randomly on each card.

2019_0619005a

The finishing touch on each card was the application of several tiny white flat-back pearls. I didn’t photograph the inside of the cards but I embellished the inside panel of each one with a thin leftover strip of paper used on the front, leaving plenty of room to write a custom message. Loving how these turned out!

If you haven’t already done so, be sure to check out all the amazing digital printables in the Ephemoire Etsy Shop – there are collage sheets, digital papers, journal kits, clip art and mixed media printables. And the print quality is awesome! I’m super stoked to share my first inspiration project, a gorgeous Pansy accordion album created with the Vintage Distressed Pansy Accordion Album Kit. OMG, this kit is amazing!

2019_0428005a

I cut the papers and elements from the kit and inked them all. I created the accordion album base from ivory cardstock and inked the edges. I layered the papers for each page on kraft paper, and positioned the elements where I wanted them, one page at a time, and when I was happy with the placement, I adhered everything down.

There are 12 pages and each page contains at least one tag in a pocket, ready for journaling or photos. All the tags have ribbon pulls, and I added Washi tape and bling to each page. Really loving how this turned out!

Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: Stampin’ Up Very Vanilla thick cardstock, Marco’s Brown Bag cover paper; Ephemoire Vintage Distressed Pansy Accordion Album Kit
Ink: Ranger Walnut Stain distress ink, Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen
Dies/Punches: Stampin’ Up 1/4″ circle punch, Stampin’ Up Curvy Corner Trio Punch
