Howdy, friends! Happy Tuesday! It’s Day 2 of the 2020 Cat Lovers Hop and I’ve popped in this evening to share a fun cat card I created earlier today. I had SO much fun with this card – the Crazy Cats stamps and dies are some of my all-time favorites. The Box Die is NBUS for sure (never before used stuff) – I’ve had it for at least five years and it’s never been out of the package. Also have the matching stamp set which I think I’ve used once because one of the stamps is stained but I sure don’t remember using it, lol! Shaking my head… how does that even happen?! Look how stinkin’ cute this is!

I dug out the Tim Holtz Crazy Cats and Crazy Things stamps and dies along with the Neat & Tangled Box stamps and dies. After I colored the cat, bow tie and flower bouquet, I decided to go with a purple and green color combo (one of my favorites) and created the background with coordinating purple papers, gold foil kraft and purple washi tape and then layered the panel on green cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in green ink.

I cut the box from gold foil kraft, put the cat in it and added the bouquet and a tiny purple bow. I finished the front off with several tiny purple gemstones.

I embellished the inside panel with leftover strips of the papers and washi tape used on the front, stamped the sentiment in green ink, and layered the panel on green cardstock.

And one more look… this guy is totally cracking me up! I’m so smitten! ;)
