Hey everybody, I hope you have something fun planned this weekend and you’re enjoying some beautiful Fall weather! It certainly is gorgeous here! I’ve popped in for my second post this morning to share a Keep It Simple DT inspiration project with you. I created this adorable camera shaped card which features papers, stamps, dies, and die cut pieces from our new Boho Floral collection! I used our KIS Cuts: Camera dies and assorted enamel dots and hearts to bring this card to life. It was definitely a fun one!

Using the KIS Cuts: Camera dies, I cut the shaped card base from CutCardStock Glama Brown Kraft cardstock along with the camera elements and layering panels from assorted prints in the Boho Floral 6×9 Collection Pack. I embellished the card front with Boho Floral Die Cut Pieces and Back To Basics Enamel Dots and Hearts.

I used the Boho Floral Collection Stamps for the sentiment. I stamped it in Brutus Monroe Clear Embossing Ink on a piece of our acetate, heat embossed it in Brutus Monroe Alabaster Embossing Powder, and then cut it with the coordinating Boho Floral Outline Die.

I cut the inside panel from Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and a print in the Boho Floral Collection, then stamped a sentiment from the Boho Floral Collection Stamps in Memento Espresso Truffle ink. The final step was adding another floral from the Boho Floral Die Cut Pieces.

Hi everyone! Happy Fri-YAY! I’m stoked to be back on the CutCardStock blog today with an awesome DT inspiration project featuring more of the Basis cardstock that was included in our Designer’s Pack! First order of business is to let you know that this post contains affiliate links. This birthday card features the gorgeous blue that I paired with white linen, and it’s a super easy design. I created a standard A2 size card base from Classic Linen Solar White 100# cardstock and then cut a slightly smaller panel from Classic Linen Solar White 80# cardstock.

I punched ten 3/4″ squares from Basis Medium Blue cardstock and scored each one vertically and horizontally for some interest. I rotated the squares to create diamond shapes and arranged them on a piece of copy paper, centering with a T-Square ruler, and taped them in place with removable tape. Then I flipped them over, added some glue to the back of each one, flipped them over again and adhered them to the Classic Linen Solar White 80# cardstock panel. Using Stick-It adhesive sheet, I adhered the panel to white foam and then to the card base. I added some tiny white flat-back pearls to center of each along with the sentiment stamped in blue ink, die cut and popped up on foam tape.

I cut the inside panel from Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock and embellished it with a strip of the Basis Medium Blue cardstock adhered down the left side. I stamped the simple sentiment in blue ink.

One more look… loving how this simple but pretty design turned out! I’m thinking I may CASE my own design soon to create a set of these cards to gift! ;)

Hi everyone! Happy Friday and May 1st! It’s time for a new challenge over at Mix It Up Challenge Blog and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project for MIUCB #37 – Anything Goes + Masking! As you know, our challenges are always ‘anything goes’ and we offer an optional technique twist each month just to inspire you – and this month’s twist is masking! I created a… wait… one layer (yessss, one layer AND clean and simple!) birthday card featuring masking of a bunch of sweet feline friends wishing somebody a happy birthday!

I think this might be the second or third one layer card I’ve created in all my adult crafty life, lol – and it’s CAS – this doesn’t happen very often! I colored these little guys and gals with my Prismacolor Pencils so there would no bleeding through the cardstock. I really need practice as I’m still such a novice using colored pencils.

I stamped the ‘from all of us’ sentiment on the inside in black ink.

And one more peek… so sweet! I love it!
