Star light, star bright.

Hi friends! A very Happy Monday to you! I’m thrilled to be on the blog today over at The Project Bin with another crafty tutorial! If you’re interested, take a peek at that HERE. We are doing “Christmas in June” on the blog and I created a super fun Christmas card using the Merriest Christmas stamps and dies along with the Summer Fun stamp set from my stash. Christmas stamps and dies paired with a Summer stamp set, you say?! Yep, I used the sun from the Summer Fun stamp set as the bright star! ;)

I created a top fold card base from charcoal gray cardstock to simulate a nighttime scene. I tore three snow banks from linen cardstock and arranged my die cut snowman and trees on the front. I heat embossed the sentiment and the ‘star’ above the die cut elements in white.

I stamped the inside sentiment in black ink and embellished the panel with a strip of red cardstock, and layered the panel on the red cardstock.

And another peek… really loving this little snowman! The sentiments in this set are so awesome!
