jolly

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! We’ve had another busy week with doctor appointments for both Ed and I, and I’m feverishly playing catch-up, lol! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a festive and fun CAS Christmas card featuring our Santa Hat Brads, Santa Suit Brads and Snowflake Brads!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock along with a stitched rectangle die cut for the background from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock. I die cut the ‘jolly’ word from red glitter sheet and adhered it to the stitched panel. I added a Santa Hat Brad and and two boots from the Santa Suit Brads, along with several Snowflake Brads, and then adhered the panel to the card base.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of red glitter sheet. I stamped the sentiment in black ink and cut it with a small stitched rectangle die. I added a Santa Suit Brad in the lower left corner and layered the panel on CutCardStock Pop-Tone Wild Cherry cardstock.

And one more look… super happy with how this turned out – super festive and super easy! ;)

Get your train rollin’

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! October is probably my favorite month of the entire year and I can’t believe it’s here already! Yay for my birthday and Yay for Fall! ;) Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a mini slimline for a super sweet little boy who turned one a few days ago! This was such a fun card and features our Train Mix Brads and Sun & Cloud Brads. I semi-CASEd the sentiment on one of my own designs from several years ago where I used a tractor.

I cut a mini slimline landscape top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock along with a layering panel from CutCardStock Basis Blue cardstock. I printed the front and inside sentiments on a piece of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock and trimmed them down to be slightly smaller than the blue panels. Let me interrupt for a PSA: The typical mini slimline is 3″ x 6″, however, I decided going forward that I’ll make mini slimlines 3-1/2″ x 6″ which will be the legal size for mailing. ;) I hand-drew the train track across the white panel with a black alcohol marker, added Train Mix Brads and Sun & Cloud Brads, and adhered the panels to the card base. The final touch was drawing a little ‘smoke’ coming from the locomotive with a light gray alcohol marker.

As mentioned above, I printed the front and inside sentiments on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and trimmed the panels down slightly smaller than the blue layering panels. I embellished the white sentiment panel with strips cut from CutCardStock Basis Green cardstock, CutCardStock Pop-Tone Wild Cherry cardstock and CutCardStock Pop-Tone Lemon Drop cardstock, added an additional Train Mix Brad, and layered the panel on CutCardStock Basis Blue cardstock.

And one more look… such a fun card! I absolutely love these little train brads!

Breakfast ATCs

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! We’ve been busy this week with human and feline doctor appointments. Cute story… As you probably already know, we are crazy cat people, and Ed is known as the “Cat Whisperer” (lol). Several weeks ago he brought a sweet little family of mom, dad and four six-month-old kittens to our back yard shed (and built an attached catio so they are protected from predators) that he rescued from an abandoned building. Mom has since given birth to four more kittens two weeks ago but three didn’t survive. So the four six-month-old females got spayed this week, dad has an appointment to get neutered next week (I’m sure he won’t be happy about that, lol), and mom will get spayed as soon as her remaining kitten is weaned. We are hopeful that they will stay in our back yard since this is where their food is. We have ten inside cats already so this is the best we can do for them. <3 Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a super fun set of four breakfast-themed ATCs (cards and coins) featuring our Breakfast Stamps and Bacon Egg & Toast Brads, along with Blue Jewel Bling, Clear Jewel Bling, Green Jewel Bling and Gray Enamel Dots! I absolutely LOVE coordinating stamps and brads! :D

I cut and punched the card and coin bases (two for each ATC) from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock along with some patterned paper layers. I adhered the patterned paper layers to the bases to make the four ATCs, stamped the sentiments from Breakfast Stamps on each one, and added the Bacon Egg & Toast Brads. I then added Blue Jewel Bling, Clear Jewel Bling, Green Jewel Bling and Gray Enamel Dots and adhered the extra base on the back of each ATC for stability.

And one more look… totally loving how these turned out! I think I mentioned in my last post that I’m a real sucker for pun-y sentiments, so here we are again, lol! ;)

I’m so grapeful for you

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had an awesome week! I can’t believe we’re on the downhill slope toward the end of September and we’ll soon be welcoming October! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a super fun friendship/thank you card featuring our Grape Brads, Purple Foil Washi Tape, Pink Foil Washi Tape and Green Jewel Bling! I’ve had this die in my stash for a minute and thought it would be fun to place the purple and pink foil washi tape beneath the dashed apertures to use as the background for the hanging clusters of grapes and fun sentiment! I’m such a sucker for pun-y sentiments, lol!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock along with a layering panel from CutCardStock Basis Dark Purple cardstock, rounded all four corners, and adhered the purple panel to the card base. Using the mini cover plate die, I cut panels from CutCardStock Basis Light Lime cardstock and Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock. I placed strips of Purple Foil Washi Tape alternating with strips of Pink Foil Washi Tape on the green panel, and then adhered the white panel on top. I added several Grape Brads and adhered the piece to the card front. I added the sentiment and Green Jewel Bling to complete the front of the card.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of CutCardStock Basis Light Lime cardstock, Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and CutCardStock Basis Dark Purple cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in green ink and layered the panel on the purple cardstock.

And one more look… really loving how this turned out! I’ve always loved a green and purple color combo, and the pop of pink on this one really sets it off! These grape brads are super fun!

I donut know how to thank you.

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! If you live in the States, you know that today is a sad date to remember – this day marks the 20th anniversary of the multiple terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center. After all these years, my heart still breaks for the families and friends of all those who lost their lives that day. Please take a moment to remember them. Now on to something happy! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a super fun thank you card featuring our Donut Brads, Donut Washi Tape and Light Pink Enamel Dots! I LOVE these brads and coordinating washi tape! OMG, these make such fun cards!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock along with a slightly smaller layering panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock which I embellished with layered strips of CutCardStock Pop-Tone Cotton Candy cardstock alternating with CutCardStock Basis Pink cardstock and Donut Washi Tape between each strip. I stamped the sentiment on the next to the last strip in brown ink, added three Donut Brads, and then adhered the panel to the card base. I added some Light Pink Enamel Dots to complete the card front.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of Donut Washi Tape and CutCardStock Pop-Tone Cotton Candy cardstock, stamped the sentiment in brown ink and layered the panel on the cotton candy cardstock.

And one more peek… how stinkin’ cute is this?! The absolute perfect thank you for any donut lover in your life, lol!

we can’t direct the wind Note Card

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! We’re sure enjoying some cooler weather out here in Colorado and that makes us happy! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a cool inspirational note card with a nautical feel featuring our Anchor Brads, Ship Wheel Brads, Anchor Washi Tape and Black Enamel Dots! These brads and washi tape are the the bomb – I love using coordinating products!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Basis Brown cardstock and Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock. I covered just a tad more than half of the white panel with Anchor Washi Tape, cut it off at an angle and adhered it to the brown panel, and added a narrow white cardstock strip at the angled edge. I stamped the sentiment in gold ink and then brown ink over top of the gold for a pretty brown shimmer. I cut the sentiment with a stitched circle die and adhered it to the panel. I added randomly-placed Anchor Brads and Ship Wheel Brads, and adhered the panel to the card base. I then added a few Black Enamel Dots to complete the front.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of Anchor Washi Tape and a narrow strip of CutCardStock Basis Brown cardstock, and layered the panel on the brown cardstock. Since this is a note card, I left the inside panel blank, leaving plenty of room to write a custom message.

And one more look… I absolutely love how this turned out! A true nautical feel with these amazing brads and washi tape!

No one’s butter than YOU!

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Things are status quo here. The hubs had a pinched ulnar nerve released in his left arm several days ago and is doing well. I have to keep reminding him to take it easy and not over use his arm… you know how men are! ;) Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m thrilled to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a fun birthday popcorn machine box card featuring our Popcorn & Ticket Brads and Red Jewel Bling! This was definitely a fun one! My Scan N Cut lives in a cabinet to keep it from getting dusty, and when I bring it out, I typically cut multiple files which keep me busy assembling for weeks to come. ;)

I cut the box card base from CutCardStock Basis Gold cardstock, and all the elements from CutCardStock Basis Red cardstock, Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock, Hygloss Silver Foil cardstock, and K & Co. Essentials Dark designer paper. I assembled the card and added a stamped sentiment, a Ticket Brad and Red Jewel Bling.

Here’s a shot of the back showing an additional sentiment and a Popcorn Brad on the signature panel.

And one more peek… what a super fun card! As you well know, I absolutely LOVE box cards and I really enjoyed creating this one, and these brads were just the ‘ticket!’

Set of 6 hello notelets

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a pretty set of six ‘hello’ notelets featuring our oh-so-gorgeous Butterfly & Bird Cage Wide Washi Tape and Butterfly Brads, along with our Copper Foil Washi Tape and Clear Jewel Bling. These were super easy and look so elegant!

I used Stampin’ Up Crumb Cake 3-1/2″ x 5″ Note Cards and Envelopes. I covered six small squares with Butterfly & Bird Cage Wide Washi Tape, cut them with a Spellbinders Postage Stamps die, then layered each one on a slightly larger CutCardStock Basis Brown cardstock square. I cut six more squares from CutCardStock Basis Light Brown cardstock, covered the edges with Copper Foil Washi Tape, and adhered a layered square to each one. I cut six strips from the light brown cardstock, added the copper washi tape, and adhered one strip to each card base. I added a Butterfly Brad to each square and then adhered them to the card bases. I stamped ‘hello’ in brown ink on each card and added Clear Jewel Bling that I colored with a brown alcohol marker. I left the inside of each blank, as these are notelets.

A sailor is an artist

Hey everybody, a very Happy Saturday to you – and it’s the last day of July! Hope you’ve had a good week! I’ve been busy in my studio and that makes me a happy camper! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a masculine nautical-themed card featuring our Boat & Lighthouse Brads, which are new in the store this month, and paired them with our Anchor Brads along with our Wide Sky Washi Tape and Water Washi Tape! I use these two washi tape patterns together a lot because they create the coolest water/beach scenes ever!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layer from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock which I covered with Wide Sky Washi Tape and Water Washi Tape. I fashioned a cliff from CutCardStock 80# Sandcastle cardstock and then stamped some birds and shoreline greenery. I stamped a large sentiment in blue ink on white cardstock, trimmed the strip and adhered it across the top of the sky portion of the panel. I added Boat & Lighthouse Brads and an Anchor Brad,, and adhered the panel to the card base. The finishing touch was the addition of two Blue Enamel Dots on the sentiment strip.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock, embellished it with a strip of Red Skinny Washi Tape and a strip of CutCardStock 80# Wild Blueberry cardstock, stamped the sentiment in blue ink, and layered the panel on the blueberry cardstock.

And one more peek… loving how this turned out! These new brads (paired with the anchor brads and washi tape) make awesome nautical masculine cards!
