Red, White and Boom! fun fold

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m thrilled to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a 4th of July card featuring our Flag & Hat Brads and Patriotic Enamel Stars! You know me and fun folds… I ran across my own zig-zag template while I was looking through my tutorial files for something else, and decided it would be perfect for this card! I went one step further on this one and die cut two round apertures to see the fireworks through, which I thought was a fun touch!

I cut the card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock, two narrow embellishing strips from CutCardStock Basis Blue cardstock, and layering panels from assorted coordinated patriotic papers. Using a Memory Box Stitched Circle Layers die, I die cut circular apertures into the first and second sections. I stamped the fireworks on one of the negative space circular die cuts and adhered it to the third section to be seen through the apertures. I stamped the main sentiment in red ink on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock, cut it with a Memory Box Stitched Rectangle Layers die and adhered it along the top of the first section.

I used our blue and white Patriotic Enamel Stars to embellish all three inside sections. I affixed a hat from our Flag & Hat Brads to the second section adjacent to another stamped sentiment.

I cut the back panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a scrap from one of the patterned papers used on the front along with a narrow strip of CutCardStock Basis Blue cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in red ink, added a flag from our Flag & Hat Brads and some Patriotic Enamel Stars, and layered the panel on the blue cardstock.

And one more look… so smitten with this design! I totally love the enamel stars used with the hat and flag brads!

Scrappy hugs,

I Love Fall

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! Mini slimlines (in 3-1/2″ x 6″ size that are legal to mail) are my new favorite kind of card to make these days, and I created a gorgeous Fall card featuring our Pumpkin Brads, Leaf Brads and Orange Pearl Bling! I got some new double-sided patterned paper packs that I’ve been itching to use! Plus, if you know me very well, then you know that I typically don’t stick to seasonal crafting… I’m all over the place and create whatever pops into my head! It’s Winter, so what’s wrong with a Fall card, I ask?! ;)

I cut a side-folding mini slim card base from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Tangy Orange cardstock and Stamp Anniething Autumn Life 6×6 double-sided papers. I used a corner punch on the two layering panels and adhered them together. I cut wide embellishing strips from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock and CutCardStock Pop-Tone Tangy Orange cardstock, layered them together and adhered them horizontally across the front of the card, and adhered the panel to the card front. Using the My Favorite Things Wonky Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics, I die cut an element for the front on which I stamped the sentiment from The Project Bin New Leaf stamp set in brown ink, added Pumpkin Brads and Leaf Brads, and adhered it to the card front. To finish it off, I added some Orange Pearl Bling.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock and punched the corners with the corner punch. I stamped the sentiment (from the same TPB stamp set) in brown and orange inks, and layered it on CutCardStock Pop-Tone Tangy Orange cardstock.

And one more look… these pumpkin and leaf brads sure do make a gorgeous Fall card and are some of my favorites in the store!

Scrappy hugs,

I turtley adore you

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a super sweet CAS-ish card featuring our Turtle Brads and Pearl Bling Multi Size Green! There’s something about a tag on the front of card… and especially a tag with a super cute turtle and a pun-y sentiment! This is so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it! And sometimes less is definitely more!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from CutCardStock Basis White 110# cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Gumdrop Green cardstock and a green dotted pattern from the Stamp Anniething Summer Tropics 6×6 double-sided papers. I die cut a tag from CutCardStock Basis White 80# cardstock using the CUTplorations Stitched Tags Nesting Dies and stamped the sentiment in green ink. I added a couple strips cut from the green cardstock to the bottom of the tag, added the Turtle Brad and a tiny heart punched from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Cotton Candy cardstock. I added some green crafting cord to the tag before adhering it to the card front, and then added some Green Pearl Bling to finish it off.

I cut the inside panel from CutCardStock Basis White 80# cardstock and embellished it with a wide strip of the green dotted patterned paper used on the front. I stamped the sentiment in green ink and layered the panel on CutCardStock Pop-Tone Gumdrop Green cardstock cardstock.

And one more look… so very happy with how this turned out! These turtle brads are super adorable and this little guy paired perfectly with the stamp set!

Three Favorite Valentine/Love Projects for Eyelet Outlet

Hey everybody! A very Happy Saturday and Merry Christmas to you! This year sure has flown by! I’m thrilled to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today sharing my three favorite Valentine/Love projects created with our amazing products! This is another one of those different kind of posts where all three of these projects have already been showcased on my blog – and very similar to my post in late November when I shared my three favorite Holiday projects. Looks like this will be a fun tradition!

If you are a regular reader of my blog, you know that Ed and I are Crazy Cat People and we rescue kittens and cats (current count is 18 – we have 11 inside and 7 more ferals/semi-ferals outside). That said, two of my three favorite cards in this post are cat-themed! The third is dog-themed, lol – we truthfully love all kinds of animals – and I really couldn’t list these three in any kind of ‘favorite’ order! My first fav is this awesome kitty card which I created in one of my favorite color combos of black and white with a pop of red. I paired our Cat Brads with our Glitter Black Washi Tape to create this purrfect Valentine or anniversary card!

My second fav is this adorable card featuring our Dog Brads and Kennel Mix Brads which I paired with our Grass Washi TapeSummer Tree Brads and Sun/Cloud Brads to create a fun scene. I also used a Paw Brad on the inside.

And my third fav is this super cute ‘feline good’ card which I created in a rose and burgundy color combo and features our Fox & Flowers Wide Washi Tape on the background. I also used our Feline Brads which I paired with a Pink Enamel Heart and White Pearl Bling. As you can tell, this inside sentiment is one of my favorites and gets used a lot! ;)

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post, even though it’s a little bit different from my normal posts! Hey peeps! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! They seem to be flying by at a wicked fast rate of speed! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created the cutest-ever fairy house 3-D project featuring our Fairy Brads and clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling Strips! I actually made two of these fairy houses with very subtle differences between the two – one had pink flowers and two fairies (which I sent to my granddaughter) and this one has purple flowers and and three fairies. I sure do enjoy my Scan N Cut, and whenever I get it out for a crafty spin, I cut multiple projects to work on between design team projects that keep me busy for the weeks to come. There’s nothing more fun than watching a 3-D project come to life! Going back 12 years, I’ve owned a personal size Cricut, a Cricut Expression and a Silhouette Cameo prior to buying my first Scan N Cut six years ago. I upgraded to an SDX125 a little while back and I’m in love. It came with three extra design collections when I bought it (plus it already has 600+ built-in designs) and the cutting blade has an auto-sensor that tells the machine how thick the paper, cardstock, leather, foam, acetate, fabric, etc. is that you’re cutting, so no more adjusting the cutting blade depth. If you’re in the market for a die cutting machine (or an upgrade), the SDX125 is the way to go! ;)

I cut all the pieces from CutCardStock Basis Brown, Basis Light Brown, Basis Green, Basis Aqua, Basis Teal, Basis Gold, Basis Magenta, Pop-Tone Tangy Orange and Pop-Tone Grape Jelly cardstock. I assembled the fairy house and added three Fairy Brads prior to adding the second base layer of the house for stability. I added several clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling Strips to the soffit for a little sparkle.

I stamped the sentiment on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock in orange ink, cut it with a stitched oval die, and adhered it to the front of the tree stump. Here are a couple angled shots:

And one more look folded flat for mailing! So stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it!

We’re friends for the long haul

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a friendship pick-me-up card using our Truck Stamp Set with matching Truck Brads along with our Car Brads and some Red Jewel Bling. I know I’ve mentioned before that I love our stamps and matching brads, or matching brads and washi tape. So much fun!

I cut a standard A2 size landscape top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 110# cardstock along with a rectangle die cut from CutCardStock Basis Red cardstock and an oval die cut from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock which I layered together. Using the Truck Stamp Set, I stamped the sentiment and highway in black ink and added a Truck Brad and two Car Brads. I adhered the panel to the card front and added Red Jewel Bling to complete the front.

I cut the same rectangle die cut from CutCardStock Basis Red cardstock and an oval die cut from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White 80# cardstock for the inside which I layered together. Using the Truck Stamp Set, I stamped the sentiment in black ink, added a Truck Brad in the corner, and adhered the panel to the inside of the card base.

And one more look… if this card doesn’t lift a friend’s spirits, I don’t know what would, lol! Such fun stamps and brads!

Three Favorite Holiday Projects for Eyelet Outlet

Hey peeps! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today sharing my three favorite holiday projects created with our amazing products! This is a different kind of post – all three of these projects have already been showcased on my blog. When this idea was presented to our design team, we all loved it, so hopefully this is the start of a new holiday tradition!

The first of my three favorites is this adorable Merry Christmoose card! These Moose Brads are some of the coolest brads ever, which I paired with our Copper Skinny Washi Tape and White Enamel Dots to create this fun scene.

The card in the number two spot is this peaceful serene scene created with our Cardinal Brads and Cardinal Profile Brads against a Glitter Star Washi Tape background embellished with Snowflake Brads and White Enamel Dots.

And my third favorite is this step card shaker! Who can resist a shaker card?! Especially a shaker card filled with our gorgeous Snowflake Sequins?! I also used clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling and Clear Bling Strips to embellish the snowflakes on the front of the shaker.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post, even though it’s a little bit different from the norm! Merry Christmas Step Card Shaker

11/26/21 Top 3 at Crafty Catz!

Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! Seems I’m always in Christmas mode so I created a classic step card and added a snowflake shaker element which I filled with our Snowflake Sequins. I used clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling and Clear Bling Strips to embellish the snowflakes on the front of the shaker.

I used a step card die set to cut the card base from CutCardStock Basis Navy cardstock along with layers from CutCardStock Curious Metallic White Silver cardstock and Hot Off The Press Snowfall 6×6 double-sided papers which I adhered to the card base. I built the shaker element with the Hot Off The Press Snowflakes Ornament Chipboard, using the Snowfall patterned paper for the inside and added several additional die cut rings (using two circle dies) cut from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock to make it just a tad deeper and then filled it with our Snowflake Sequins. I painted the outside rim and edge silver with a Posca Silver paint pen and colored the snowflakes on the front of the shaker with alcohol markers in blue tones, adding clear gemstones from our Clear Jewel Bling and Clear Bling Strips to embellish them. I adhered a tied snowflake ribbon to the top and added a sentiment stamped in blue ink on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock from the Trinity Stamps A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything stamp set to complete the card.

Here are a few more shots of this awesome card.

And one more peek of the card folded flat for mailing. I sure do love how this turned out! Shakers are among my all-time favorites!

I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a super fun Envelope Box Card featuring our Bumble Bee Brads and Pink Jewel Bling! I love my Scan N Cut and I always cut several projects when I take it out of the cabinet for a crafty session, and this card was one from the latest batch. I really enjoyed this!

I cut the base from CutCardStock Basis Navy cardstock, and the rest of the pieces from CutCardStock Basis White cardstock, CutCardStock Basis Gold cardstock, CutCardStock Basis Magenta cardstock CutCardStock Basis Black cardstock, CutCardStock Dolphin cardstock and Colorbok Seeing Dots cardstock. Then the fun began of assembling the card! I added the sentiment using die cut letters and some Pink Jewel Bling. Here’s a shot from another angle.

And one more peek… so loving how this turned out! I can’t say enough about all the fun products at Eyelet Outlet! They really bring a project to life!

hello lovely

Hi everyone! I hope you’ve had a great week and you’re looking forward to relaxing this weekend! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m thrilled to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a pretty birthday card featuring our new Female Cardinal Brads which I paired with our Glitter Brown Washi Tape, Valentine Washi Tape and White Enamel Dots! Nothing like girls hanging out jabbering to one another, lol!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and CutCardStock Pop-Tone Hot Fudge cardstock, and rounded the top left and bottom right corners. Using the Hero Arts Color Layering Birds & Blossoms stamp set, I stamped the branch in Memento Espresso Truffle ink and the flowers in Hero Arts Soft Pink ink and Hero Arts Bubble Gum ink on the white panel, added three Female Cardinal Brads on the limbs, and added strips of Glitter Brown Washi Tape and Valentine Washi Tape across the bottom. I stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set) in brown ink, cut it with a stitched oval die and adhered it to the bottom right portion of the washi tape. I adhered the layering panels together and then to card base, and added several White Enamel Dots to complete the front.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of the Glitter Brown Washi Tape and Valentine Washi Tape. I stamped the sentiment from the Hero Arts Color Layering Birds & Blossoms stamp set in brown ink and layered the panel on CutCardStock Pop-Tone Hot Fudge cardstock after rounding the upper left and bottom right corners.

And one more look… I really do love a pink and brown color combo! And aren’t these brads gorgeous?!
