I’m here to decorate your house

Hi everyone! Happy Friday – I hope you’ve had a great week and you’re looking forward to doing something fun this weekend! I have an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project to share with you today. I’ve been in a ‘clean and simple’ mode and this Halloween card features the spider from Creepy Halloween, another stamp set from The Project Bin. That hilarious spider is the star of the show and the punched sentiment circles are the only layers on this card, and they were adhered with Tape Runner. This would be a great card to mass produce if you send out a lot of Halloween cards!

I cut a standard A2 size top folding card base from 110# Solar White cardstock, and stamped the spider in the bottom right corner. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of Solar White cardstock and punched it with a 1-1/2″ Fiskars circle punch. I punched an additional circle from a CutCardStock Basis Orange cardstock scrap with a 1-3/4″ Stampin’ Up circle punch and adhered it beneath the sentiment circle and then to the card base. The finishing touch was the addition of several gemstones from an Eyelet Outlet 4mm Orange Jewel Bling Strip.

The inside was super simple as well, consisting of a strip cut from CutCardStock Basis Orange cardstock and a sentiment (from the same stamp set) stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Hey everybody! Happy Hump Day! Brrr, it’s a bit chilly here this morning but that’s how we like it! I’ve popped in this morning to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created the most adorable rocket wiper card for our youngest grandboy who turned two a few weeks ago, and his mom said he loved it! This is my first wiper card and I used an SVG file from My Scrap Chick. And all panels were adhered with Tape Runner!

I cut all the pieces from CutCardStock Basis Gray cardstock, Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock, and Doodlebug Design Dot-Stripe, Buffalo Check-Wood Grain and Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints. These prints from Doodlebug Design are some of my all-time favorites, and I wanted bright patterns for this card, so they definitely fit the bill! I used the Print and Cut function on my Scan N Cut for the sentiment, and I added several clear gemstones from an Eyelet Outlet 3mm clear Jewel Bling Strip. Here’s a shot of the wiper which appears when the sides are pulled out. So cute!

I used a sentiment from the Keep It Simple Birthday Sentiment Stamp Set, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

Hey everybody! Happy Hump Day – they sure do roll around fast these days! I’ve stopped in this morning to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created a clean and simple Halloween card featuring the adorable Cool Ghoul stamps and dies from The Project Bin, and of course, the ghosts were adhered with Tape Runner, and I even put a strip under the washi tape (on the front and inside) for good measure! This card couldn’t have been any easier, and I LOVE how it turned out!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from 110# Solar White cardstock. I stamped the two ghosts from the Cool Ghoul stamp set in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on scraps of Solar White cardstock and cut them with the coordinating dies. I adhered a strip of Doodlebug Design Beetle Black Swiss Dots Washi Tape to anchor the ghosts on, and stamped the sentiment (from the same stamp set) just to the right of it. I adhered the two ghosts and added a few Eyelet Outlet Black Enamel Dots, which completed the card front.

I adhered a strip of Doodlebug Design Beetle Black Swiss Dots Washi Tape to the top of the inside flap and stamped another sentiment from the Cool Ghoul stamp set in Tuxedo Black ink.

Sweet Holiday Wishes

Howdy, peeps! Happy Sunday – I hope you’re having a beautiful weekend! I’ve popped in this morning to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! This adorable red and green Christmas mini slimline note card features gingerbread cookies, and of course, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner! I also used some of my favorite Kat Scrappiness mini slimline dies. ;)

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the gemstones and small die cut heart. I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slimline card base from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Jupiter cardstock (and rounded the corners) along with a die cut layering panel cut from CutCardStock Pop-Tone Jellybean Green cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Scalloped Edge Dies. I created a narrow background panel from CutCardStock Granny Smith using the Sizzix Festive Repeat Thinlits with a slightly narrower panel of Silk Glitter Opulent cardstock. Using the Sunny Studio Christmas Cookies stamps, I stamped the gingerbreads and small heart, colored them with alcohol markers and cut them with the coordinating dies. I stamped the sentiment, trimmed and cut in sections, and added Eyelet Outlet 5mm Red Pearl Bling which completed the card front.

I die cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock using a Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Scalloped Edge Die and embellished it with strips of CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Jupiter and Pop-Tone Jellybean Green. I left the inside blank with plenty of room to write a custom message.

See Possibility Everywhere

Hi friends! A big ol’ Happy Friday to you all! I hope you’re doing something fun this weekend! You know where I’ll be… LOL! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project. I created a note card featuring a trio of stitched round apertures with pretty whimsical flowers peeking through. And of course, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner!

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the gemstones on the flower centers and the sentiment strip. I cut a standard A2 size card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from Neenah Classic Linen 80# Solar White cardstock and CutCardStock Arrowhead Gray Pearlized cardstock which I adhered together and then to the card base.

I also cut slightly narrower layering panels from Neenah Classic Linen 100# Solar White cardstock and CutCardStock Arrowhead Gray Pearlized cardstock, and using the YNS Peek-A-Boo Trio Die Set, I cut the apertures into the linen panel. I stamped the flowers from the Prickley Pear Stamps Blobby Flowers 2 stamp set in Catherine Pooler Mandarin Spice, Fiesta Blue and Lime Rickey inks on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and punched them with a Fiskars 1-1/2″ circle punch. I adhered the punched stamped flowers to the narrow gray cardstock panel, positioning them to show through the apertures on the linen panel which I popped up on adhesive foam strips. I added gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Topaz Twinkle, Aquamarine Ripple, and Andradite Sparkle Embellishment Mixes to the flower centers, and the Tim Holtz sentiment strip, which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a leftover strip of the CutCardStock Arrowhead Gray Pearlized cardstock used on the front. Since this is a note card, I left the panel blank.

9/20/22 Featured at Use Your Stuff Challenge Blog!

Hi everyone! A very Happy Hump Day to you! They sure do roll around rather quickly these days! This day is a special one every year because it’s my mom’s and baby brother’s birthday but they’ve both been gone for many years. Mom would be 102 and Mickey would be 58. He was born on her 44th birthday and we always teased her about that birthday present, lol! I’ve popped in this morning to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project that I created featuring an adorable fruit-themed Fun Stamper’s Journey stamp set which is another one I’ve had for a little while. The cardstock panels, stamped fruit and sentiments on these artist trading cards were adhered with Tape Runner.

As mentioned above, everything was adhered with Tape Runner except the sequins, and I used wet glue for those. I cut the ATC bases from 110# Solar White cardstock along with panels from Doodlebug Design Gingham-Linen, Swiss Dot, and Dot-Grid-Daisy-Stripe Rainbow Petite Prints, and rounded the corners of all. These prints are some of my all-time favorites because I love the colors! For a little interest, I created backgrounds of stamped fruit on each one which I heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I stamped the fruit individually in black ink on Solar White cardstock, colored them with alcohol markers, and fussy cut them. I stamped the sentiments on Solar White cardstock as well, and cut or trimmed each one. I assembled each ATC and added two sequins to each which finished the set.

Scrappy hugs,

Thanks So Much Mini Slimline

Howdy, friends! Happy Fri-YAY! I hope you have a good weekend planned and will be doing something fun! I have a pretty Tape Runner DT inspiration project to share with you today featuring some of my favorite dies, and of course, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. I used the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Foliage Frame die and Reversed Scallop Mini Slimline dies which look amazing together. For the sentiment, I used Waffle Flower Bold Alpha dies along with the Waffle Flower Sentiment Additions stamps and dies which also look amazing together. I think I love this card, lol!

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the sentiment, leaves and gemstones. I cut a mini slimline card base from CutCardStock Basis 110# Natural cardstock. Next, I die cut the foliage frame from CutCardStock Bright Gold cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Mini Slimline Foliage Frame die and a reversed scallop frame from Basis Dark Red cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Reversed Scallop Mini Slimline dies which I adhered to the card base.

I die cut the thanks sentiment from Basis Dark Red using the Waffle Flower Bold Alpha dies and adhered it to the card front. Using the Waffle Flower Sentiment Additions stamps, I stamped the second portion of the sentiment in Catherine Pooler Cranberry Fizz ink on Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock, die cut it with the coordinating Waffle Flower Sentiment Additions die, and adhered it to the card front across the large thanks sentiment. The finishing touch was adding several gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Ruby Radiance Embellishment Mix using my Trinity Pick Up Stick.

I cut the inside panel from Baronial Ivory cardstock and embellished it with a die cut reversed scallop frame cut from CutCardStock Basis Dark Red cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Reversed Scallop Mini Slimline dies. I stamped the sentiment in Catherine Pooler Cranberry Fizz ink and adhered the panel to the inside of the card base.

And one more look… really loving how this card turned out! OMGoodness, I love it when a card turns out exactly the way I envisioned it! And, of course, it’s held together with the best adhesive, Tape Runner!

Under the Sea Aquarium

9/15/22 Top 3 at Sparkles Monthly Challenge Blog!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday – I hope you’re having a great week! I’m stoked to be back on the Printable Cuttable Creatables blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! Have you ever seen a paper aquarium?! I never have so I made one featuring the Under the Sea Cutting File Scrapbook Title, Cute Mermaid SVG File and Seaweed SVG File! It’s a lot like a box card but 8″ square when standing, has acetate across the front, and it folds flat for mailing if desired!

I started by constructing the aquarium (with two inside strips) from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock. I cut layering panels for the inside and outside along with die cut waves (using the My Favorite Things Slimline Ocean Motion Die-namics) from The Paper Cut Blue Crinkle Paper, and adhered them in place.

I cut the pieces in the Under the Sea title, assembled it, and adhered it to the back wall of the aquarium. I moved the small seaweed down to the middle wave panel. I then cut the pieces in the Cute Mermaid SVG file after flipping the file, assembled her, and adhered her on the bottom wave panel. I embellished her with pearls and gemstones. Then finally I cut the pieces for one of the options in the Seaweed SVG file, assembled it and adhered it on the bottom wave panel. The final step was adhering a panel of acetate across the front. Acetate is very hard to photograph but this close-up photo actually came out pretty cool-looking because it yields a rippled effect which is somewhat realistic of an underwater scene! I can assure you that all the elements are actually flat! ;)

Here is an overhead shot so you can see the simple box card type construction, and a shot of it folding flat for mailing if desired.

Scrappy hugs,

love you, Mom

Hi everyone! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend, and here’s hoping you have an awesome week coming up! I have a pretty Tape Runner DT inspiration project to share with you today featuring panels created from an alcohol ink piece leftover from a previous project along with a huge stamped flower and layered scalloped vellum panels. And, of course, all panels on this card were adhered with Tape Runner.

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the die cut sentiment and pearls. I cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base from CutCardStock Basis 110# White along with a die cut scalloped layering panel from Glama Natural Translucent Vellum using My Favorite Things Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I had a leftover alcohol ink piece on my desk that I had created for my Summer Waves Flip Flop (post HERE if you’re interested in seeing it) so I cut what panels I could from it and adhered them to the card base. I cut the vellum scalloped layering panel in half diagonally, layered the two halves together and trimmed it, and adhered it to the card front opposite the alcohol panel.

Using the Altenew Calming Reverie stamp and die bundle along with Memento Elderberry, Peanut Brittle and Bamboo Leaves inks, I stamped and die cut a large flower and adhered it to the card front. Using the Waffle Flower Sentiment Additions stamp set, I stamped the sentiment in Memento Grape Jelly ink and die cut it with the coordinating Waffle Flower Sentiment Additions die. The finishing touch was adding several Taylored Expressions Silver Drip Drops.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a narrow strip of CutCardStock Basis Dark Purple cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from The Project Bin Defined stamp set in Memento Grape Jelly ink and layered the panel on dark purple cardstock.

And one more look… love that huge flower which compliments the alcohol ink panel and scalloped vellum panels perfectly! And everything is held together perfectly with Tape Runner! ;)

Scrappy hugs,

Merry Christmas Slimline

Howdy peeps! We’ve busted into August and my sister’s birthday is in five days, so that means Christmas will literally be here in no time. This happens every year, lol! I have an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project to share with you today. I created a slimline card featuring a string of sparkling bulbs, and of course, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. This is the first time I’ve used the STAMPlorations Layered Lights stamp set and I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it! I love the whimsical fill-ins on all the layered sets!

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. I cut a 3-3/4″ x 9″ slimline card base from 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop Tone Tangy Orange cardstock and 80# Solar White cardstock. Using an acrylic stamp block, I stamped the lights and cord in Catherine Pooler Midnight ink on the white layering panel. Next, I stamped the bulb fill-ins with Ranger rustic wilderness, prize ribbon, crackling campfire, villainous potion and kitsch flamingo distress inks. I stamped over each one a second time with Versamark Dazzle and applied Ranger Bridal Tinsel Embossing Powder along with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder to seal the tinsel. I stamped the Merry Christmas sentiment in black ink with the MISTI, adhered the panel to the orange panel and then to the card base, and added one small Darice iridescent gemstone to each bulb which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of CutCardStock Pop Tone Tangy Orange cardstock. I added a STAMPlorations Comfort & Joy Clear Sticker and layered the panel on orange cardstock.

And one more peek… such a FUN card! I love this stamp set and will be using it again and again, I’m sure. And, as I always say, it’s awesome having a great adhesive to hold everything together!
