I’m here to decorate your house

Hi everyone! Happy Friday – I hope you’ve had a great week and you’re looking forward to doing something fun this weekend! I have an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project to share with you today. I’ve been in a ‘clean and simple’ mode and this Halloween card features the spider from Creepy Halloween, another stamp set from The Project Bin. That hilarious spider is the star of the show and the punched sentiment circles are the only layers on this card, and they were adhered with Tape Runner. This would be a great card to mass produce if you send out a lot of Halloween cards!

I cut a standard A2 size top folding card base from 110# Solar White cardstock, and stamped the spider in the bottom right corner. I stamped the sentiment on a scrap piece of Solar White cardstock and punched it with a 1-1/2″ Fiskars circle punch. I punched an additional circle from a CutCardStock Basis Orange cardstock scrap with a 1-3/4″ Stampin’ Up circle punch and adhered it beneath the sentiment circle and then to the card base. The finishing touch was the addition of several gemstones from an Eyelet Outlet 4mm Orange Jewel Bling Strip.

The inside was super simple as well, consisting of a strip cut from CutCardStock Basis Orange cardstock and a sentiment (from the same stamp set) stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
