A special note of thanks

Hello again, everybody! I’m back with one more card I created yesterday afternoon for The Outlawz Challenges! This one is for the Sunday Songs & Rhymes Challenge, and I had the perfect stamp set in mind for “Sing a Song of Flowers!” The Paper Nest Dolls is our sponsor this month, so come on over and play! I created a pretty thank you card – one can never have too many of those on hand! And I’m proud to say that this one is clean and simple AND one layer! Woo-hoo!

This design would be fantastic to mass produce to create a set. Super simple. Two stamps on the front stamped in one color of ink.

I added some shimmer overlay to the flower which gave it a watercolor look and really brought it to life. I also ‘dotted’ around the entire image with a white paint marker but it’s barely noticeable in the photo. Looks cool in real life, though! ;)

I mentioned super simple… two more stamps from the same stamp set on the inside flap stamped in the same color used on the front. ;)

And one more look… totally loving how this turned out. There’s a lot to be said for something so simple packing such a powerful punch!
