Summer Handbag Palooza, Part 1!

7/31/20 Top Rocker at 613 Avenue Create!
8/11/20 Top 5 at Try it on Tuesday!

Hi everyone! I’ve popped back in one last time this morning to share some more super fun purse gift holders created with the Concord and 9th Everyday Purse stamp and die set. I’ve had these lil pretties made for well over a month now and planned to make several more to go with them but just haven’t had the time. So I thought I’d go ahead and showcase these three with the promise that I will add Part 2 soon, lol! But how fun are these – aren’t they great to hold chocolates, jewelry, cash or a gift card?!

The papers are from Canvas Corp – I chose them because they are heavy but not too heavy, bright and cheerful, and perfect for Summer. The straps and other white elements are also Canvas Corp paper, and the rings are from Hygloss silver and gold foil cardstock. The closures on the green/white and red/white are half Velcro circles. All the purses differ just bit from each other. This first one has a flap closure embellished with a large pearl.

The next one has a ‘clasp’ closure and features a tassel, heart charm and a couple stamped tags, all attached with a tiny ball chain. I also added a few flat-back pearls.

And the last one doesn’t have a closure – it features an open top and looks the same from both sides. How cute would it look with a small piece of white or yellow tissue paper enveloping the gift inside like a typical gift bag?!

And one more peek at all three… totally loving how these turned out! And stay tuned, because there will be a few more to add to my Summer Handbag Palooza! ;)
