Hey everybody, a very Happy Saturday to you – and it’s the last day of July! Hope you’ve had a good week! I’ve been busy in my studio and that makes me a happy camper! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a masculine nautical-themed card featuring our Boat & Lighthouse Brads, which are new in the store this month, and paired them with our Anchor Brads along with our Wide Sky Washi Tape and Water Washi Tape! I use these two washi tape patterns together a lot because they create the coolest water/beach scenes ever!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layer from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock which I covered with Wide Sky Washi Tape and Water Washi Tape. I fashioned a cliff from CutCardStock 80# Sandcastle cardstock and then stamped some birds and shoreline greenery. I stamped a large sentiment in blue ink on white cardstock, trimmed the strip and adhered it across the top of the sky portion of the panel. I added Boat & Lighthouse Brads and an Anchor Brad,, and adhered the panel to the card base. The finishing touch was the addition of two Blue Enamel Dots on the sentiment strip.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock, embellished it with a strip of Red Skinny Washi Tape and a strip of CutCardStock 80# Wild Blueberry cardstock, stamped the sentiment in blue ink, and layered the panel on the blueberry cardstock.

And one more peek… loving how this turned out! These new brads (paired with the anchor brads and washi tape) make awesome nautical masculine cards!
