Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday – I hope your week has started off well! It’s time for another fun challenge over at Stinkin’ Inkers Challenge Blog and I’m happy to share my DT inspiration project for our January Tag It challenge! We’d love to see you create a tag or use tag(s) on your project! I created a fun retro note card featuring an old rotary-dial phone using October Afternoon products.
The background pieces, phone dial and tags are lightly inked with distress ink. I layered all the elements and popped the tags up on foam tape for a little dimension.
I layered the inside panel on light turquoise cardstock and embellished it with some coordinating October Afternoon stickers.
One more look… this was a quick note card that went together very easily. Love me some October Afternoon!
Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: Stampin’ Up thick and regular Whisper White cardstock, Stampin’ Up Pool Party cardstock, Marco’s Kaleida-Paper Black cardstock, October Afternoon Daily Flash Girl Talk Paper Pack, Blurbs and Double Take Stickers
Stamps: Stampin’ Up Labeler Alphabet stamp set
Ink: Ranger Black Soot distress ink, Memento Tuxedo Black ink
Dies/Punches: Stampin’ Up 1-3/4″ Circle Punch
Accessories: Tim Holtz Stamp Platform, Bo Bunny Doily, Prairie Bird Boutique Wrinkled Ribbon
I hope you’ve enjoyed my note card and will link up a tag this month or a project using tag(s)! We’d love to see what you create! Thanks for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time! ;)
Scrappy hugs,
