Oh my deer Christmas is here

Hello, crafty peeps! Happy Saturday – hope you have an awesome weekend planned! Our new challenge is live over at Merry Little Christmas Challenge Blog and I’m delighted to share my DT inspiration project for MLCCB #25 – August Anything Christmas Goes! I created an adorable card featuring a sleeping fawn. OMG, so stinkin’ cute!

I used the Hero Arts Color Layering Fawn stamps and dies which I’ve had in my stash for a number of years, along with a scallop edge punch on the bottom edge of the layer beneath the focal image panel for some interest. I stamped the sentiment at the bottom of the panel and several snowflakes which I embellished with tiny clear gemstones.

I embellished the inside panel with a leftover strip of the cardstock used on the front, and stamped the sentiment and a few more snowflakes.

One more look… really loving how this turned out! So simple and so sweet! ;)
