Be Kind note card – Love To Scrap 2

Hey everybody! I hope you had a great weekend and your week is looking pretty darn bright, too! I am delighted to share that I found a new-to-me SVG gettin’ place called Printable Cuttable Creatables, and if you love your electronic cutting machine and cut files like I do, you’re going to love Kristin’s designs so be sure to check it out! I’ve had a chance to play with a couple of her cut files so I’ve popped in this morning to share one of them – a sweet rainbow-themed note card – created with the Rainbow Be Kind cut file!

I started by cutting all the pieces with my Scan N Cut from 110# Solar White cardstock, and colored the rainbow arches, heart and sentiment with alcohol markers. I always enjoy the assembly the most, and this one was no different! I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from 110# Solar White cardstock along with a die cut scalloped rectangle using the My Favorite Things Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I also cut a plain stitched rectangle from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Fairway cardstock using the MFT Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, which I adhered behind the scalloped die cut for just a little interest. Love that tiny bit of green peeking out around the scallops! Next, I layered a piece of green craft foam behind the rectangle and adhered it to the card base. I adhered the rainbow on Scotch 3M double-sided foam tape (the last of that giant roll that I bought several years ago) along with some Kat Scrappiness Sparkling Clear Heart Droplets, which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panels from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Fairway cardstock and 80# Solar White cardstock using the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics and the MFT Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, which I layered together. Since this is a note card, I left the inside blank with plenty of room to write a custom message.

And one more peek… so loving how this turned out! Such an adorable cut file that’s super easy to use – and the sky is the limit where colors are concerned! I’ll be using bright cardstock (red, orange, yellow, green and blue) for the next one! I’m thinking about a gift set, so stay tuned! ;)
