See Possibility Everywhere

Hi friends! A big ol’ Happy Friday to you all! I hope you’re doing something fun this weekend! You know where I’ll be… LOL! I’ve popped in today to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project. I created a note card featuring a trio of stitched round apertures with pretty whimsical flowers peeking through. And of course, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner!

As mentioned above, all panels were adhered with Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the gemstones on the flower centers and the sentiment strip. I cut a standard A2 size card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from Neenah Classic Linen 80# Solar White cardstock and CutCardStock Arrowhead Gray Pearlized cardstock which I adhered together and then to the card base.

I also cut slightly narrower layering panels from Neenah Classic Linen 100# Solar White cardstock and CutCardStock Arrowhead Gray Pearlized cardstock, and using the YNS Peek-A-Boo Trio Die Set, I cut the apertures into the linen panel. I stamped the flowers from the Prickley Pear Stamps Blobby Flowers 2 stamp set in Catherine Pooler Mandarin Spice, Fiesta Blue and Lime Rickey inks on Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and punched them with a Fiskars 1-1/2″ circle punch. I adhered the punched stamped flowers to the narrow gray cardstock panel, positioning them to show through the apertures on the linen panel which I popped up on adhesive foam strips. I added gemstones from the Trinity Stamps Topaz Twinkle, Aquamarine Ripple, and Andradite Sparkle Embellishment Mixes to the flower centers, and the Tim Holtz sentiment strip, which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a leftover strip of the CutCardStock Arrowhead Gray Pearlized cardstock used on the front. Since this is a note card, I left the panel blank.

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
