Postage Collage Hello

Hey everybody! I hope you’re having a nice start to your week! I have a fun friendship card to share that I’m entering into the Ranger/Tim Holtz Distress contest hosted by Creative Scrapbooker Magazine! I recently won a gift certificate from Waffle Flower and purchased their Postage Collage bundle which consisted of stamps, two sets of stencils and dies. So I gathered 11 distress inks and used most of those products to create this card. To say I had fun is an understatement, lol!

I cut the card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and then die cut the postage collage using the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Dies. I gathered Ranger speckled egg, salvaged patina, shabby shutters, peeled paint, shaded lilac, villainous potion, cracking campfire, barn door, antique linen, fired brick, and fossilized amber distress inks, several blending brushes, the TE Stick & Stamp Mat, and the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Everyday Stencils, and stenciled the postage collage background. I used the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Stamps to stamp the postage details in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

It’s been a minute since I’ve done any stenciling and I really enjoyed it! I stamped the ‘hello’ sentiment in black ink using the Taylored Expressions Squeeze The Day stamps and then cut it with the coordinating die. I layered the panels on CutCardStock Wild Salmon and Lessebo Cherry Red cardstock panels. The finishing touch was adding several Pajama Crafter Stamps Night Out pearls.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock, added a TE Simple Strips In Reverse- Everyday Occasions sentiment, and layered the panel on the Wild Salmon and Cherry Red cardstock. I stenciled the two tiny hearts on a scrap piece of Solar White, fussy cut them, and added them to the ends of the sentiment.
