Howdy, peeps! Can you believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving already? Where has this month gone?! I’m up on the CutCardStock blog today with a tutorial for making an adorable BFF card. This interactive card features our Sandcastle and Lessebo Cement Gray cardstock along with my trusty studio staple, Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White. I also used the Waffle Flower Intertwined Pups Die, some super cute papers from the Keep It Simple Max & Daisy Collection, and stamps and dies from the Keep It Simple Build-A-Doghouse stamp set. I’ve never owned any lab pups but these are absolutely adorable!

I cut an A2 size flat card base from Lessebo Cement Gray cardstock along with a layering panel from a print in the Keep It Simple Max & Daisy Collection. Using the Waffle Flower Intertwined Pups Die, I cut the pups from Sandcastle cardstock and colored their noses with a Copic Ciao E47 alcohol marker. I cut their bandanas from a couple more prints in the Max & Daisy Collection. I stamped a sentiment from the Keep It Simple Build-A-Doghouse stamps in Catherine Pooler Daydream ink on a 80# Solar White cardstock scrap and tore it across the top and bottom. I added a couple enamel dots from the Keep It Simple Hello Adventure Enamel Dots which completed the card front.

I cut the back panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a scrap of the teal print used on the front. I stamped another sentiment from the same stamp set in the Daydream ink. I die cut a bone using the KIS Cuts Build-A-Doghouse die set, colored it with a Copic Ciao W-0 alcohol marker, and adhered it to the lower left corner.
