Cruisin’ by to say Happy Birthday!

Hey everybody – a big ol’ happy Saturday to you! I hope you have something fun planned this weekend. I’m up on the Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L blog today with an inspiration project created with some of the coolest Spellbinders dies and stamps, and assembled with some pretty amazing adhesives! I used the E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Strips, Adhesive Sheets, and Thin 3D Foam Squares to bring this awesome masculine card to life.

I used a Neenah Classic Crest pre-folded card base and added a panel cut from an awesome plaid print from the Craft Consortium Tartan 6×6 Paper Pad. Using the Spellbinders Speedometer dies, I cut the speedometer and emblem pieces from CutCardStock Basis Gray, Beetle Black, Basis Light Brown, Bright Gold Foil, and Stardream Metallic Flame cardstock. The sentiment is from the Spellbinders Cruisin’ By Sentiments Stamp & Die Bundle which I stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink and cut with the coordinating dies.

Scrapbook Adhesives Adhesive Sheets were applied to the back of the smaller gray circle and the gold emblem piece. I used the E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Strips to assemble the remaining flat elements, and Thin 3D Foam Squares to adhere the needle base, first portion of the sentiment, and the bottom of the emblem.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of the plaid used on the front. I stamped the sentiment from the Spellbinders Cruisin’ By Sentiments Stamp & Die Bundle in Versafine Onyx Black ink and layered the panel on the Beetle Black cardstock.
