Let’s get our merry on.

** 6/7/17 Top 3 at Fab ‘n’ Funky Challenges! **

Hello, crafty friends! Happy June 1st – it’s unreal that May is behind us already! A new challenge is launching this morning over at Mix It Up Challenge Blog. You’ll remember that all of our challenges are Anything Goes and there’s always an optional twist there to inspire you. I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project for Challenge #2 – Anything Goes with optional twist of Stamping! If you play the twist with us this month, please use rubber or clear stamps!

I’ve had the Stampers Anonymous Crazy Dogs, Crazy Cats and Crazy Things (all with coordinating dies) for months now and have only used the Crazy Dogs stamps and dies once. So I got out the Crazy Cats and Crazy Things stamps and dies to create a fun CAS card for this challenge. The front and inside sentiments and the stars are from the Paper Smooches Holiday Cheer stamp set. SO much fun!

We have five fur babies so I really enjoyed using this set. Picking out the necktie and Santa hat for these guys was a major part of the fun. None of ours would tolerate any clothing or hats so I had to live vicariously through these comical stamped images, lol!

I decorated the inside with strips of the same paper used on the front, stamped a sentiment, and added a stamped and die cut candy cane with a few stars.

Would love to enter this fun card in the following challenges:

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D

  1. Brilliant card! Love the moggies and your lovely clean design.
Thanks for joining us at Christmas at Sweet Stampin’

  2. Leslie, this is super cute!! I’m pretty sure my cats wouldn’t allow me to dress them up either, and I’m not really sure these guys like it very much based on the expressions on their faces! But, they are cute and very fun, anyway! Thanks for playing with CHNCC2.

  3. Love those crazy cats! They make such a great Christmas card. Our cats would never tolerate that either. In fact, I can’t get them to leave collars on!

  4. Such fabby looking card! Love the charming cats and great sentiment. Thanks for joining us over at the Winter Wonderland.
    Love n hugs
