Hello again, crafty peeps! I’m back with my fifth and final card that I’m sharing in the Gecko Galz Tricks & Treats Blog Hop. This has been a fantastic experience and I hope you have enjoyed seeing my projects as much as I enjoyed creating them! This is a corner fold card – another fun fold which I dearly LOVE! This image is one of my favorites on the Retro Cuties Collage Sheet and I layered her on gold cardstock, then on red, and then again on the gold. This really makes the image pop. I layered some paper lace (hand-cut from a scrap) on red cardstock across the bottom, which I adorned with tiny dots of Crystal Drops after stamping a birthday sentiment.

And one final peek. I sure do love this fold – and I love how turned out! What a beautiful image!

Hi everyone! I’m baaaaack, this time with my fourth card that I’m sharing in the Gecko Galz Tricks & Treats Blog Hop. All five of my cards feature images from the very awesome Retro Cuties Collage Sheet which I’m giving away on my blog, so be sure to check out all the details in my blog post HERE and join us for the hop!
I created an Impossible Card! Anybody who knows me knows that I absolutely love fun folds, and when I found this one, I went hog-wild and created several! So stay tuned for future posts featuring this amazing fold! I rounded all the corners on this one which yields a very cool look, and there are tons of flat layers. This saucy lady is layered on cardstock, white glitter paper, patterned paper and more cardstock. The stamp on the bottom band is from the Gecko Galz Bits & Pieces Digital Collage Set which I popped up on some foam. I cut several flags from cardstock and paper scraps, and adhered them under and out to the right of the stamp. I embellished the centers of all the flowers on the patterned paper with a shimmery Gelly Roll pen.
And one final look at this super cool card folded flat and ready to mail. The image folds forward to slide into the envelope and then when it is taken out of the envelope, it stands up by itself (see first photo above). Whoever created this fold is a genius, lol!

Hello again! I’m back with my third card that I’m sharing in the Gecko Galz Tricks & Treats Blog Hop. The sentiment used on the front of this card is from the Gecko Galz Charming Words Collage Set. I thoroughly enjoyed creating this card and had a great time matching the colors in the image and layering the elements. I created the card base with a very cool A2 die set and layered a piece of pretty lace paper from my scrap stash as the background. I adhered this gorgeous lady image on a piece of black glitter paper which I adhered at an angle to the background. I popped the sentiment up on some foam strips and then finished the design with some large black rhinestones and small white pearls.
I cut the inside panel with one of the stitched dies in the A2 die set and then stamped a simple birthday sentiment.
And one final look… what an amazing card this lady made! She’s gorgeous! LOVE these Gecko Galz collage sheets!

Hi, everyone! As I mentioned in my last post, I’m participating in the Gecko Galz Tricks & Treats Blog Hop and have decided to showcase each of my blog hop projects individually so I can enjoy sharing them in some challenges, and I’m back to share my second card. All five of my cards feature images from the very awesome Retro Cuties Collage Sheet which I’m giving away on my blog, so be sure to check out all the details in my blog post HERE and join us for the hop!
This image just screamed ‘beach’ to me so that’s where I went when I started gathering supplies for this card. I layered this gorgeous image on silver cardstock and then on navy cardstock. I created the background with two printed papers, a strip of cork and a large navy flag, and then affixed the layered image on foam. I added a sentiment sticker and several rhinestones to finish it off.
I decorated the inside with leftover strips of paper and cardstock used on the front, and then stamped a simple sentiment.
And one final peek from an angle so you can see the dimension. Super happy with how this turned out!

The sentiment used on the front of this card is from the Gecko Galz Charming Words Collage Set. This was a super fun card to put together and I loved matching the colors in the image and layering the elements. I created the background with some papers from my scrap stash and layered them on the denim cardstock. I layered the sassy lady image on a dotted rectangle die cut and placed a primitive star die cut beneath it. I used star sequins adorned with seed beads. You can’t see it in the photos, but I added some sparkle to the stars on the image with a Gelly Roll pen.
I decorated the inside panel with leftover strips of the dotted paper and cardstock used on the front, and then stamped a birthday sentiment.
One final look… really loving how this turned out!

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday – we’re rapidly approaching the middle of October already, lol! Today is my post day on the Simply Crafty SVGs Blog and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you, a fun Halloween treat box created with the Simply Crafty SVGs Zombie Hand Treat Box cut file! Love, love, love this! Can’t wait to put some kind of fun treats in it… I think it would make a good addition to my desk at work! ;)
Here’s a side shot showing the little box to put the treats in.
This was a super fun cut file to work with – all the pieces layer so nicely! Makes a very realistic and creepy hand!

** Best Technique Winner at Classic Design Team Open Challenge Blog! **
Hello crafty peeps! Happy Sunday – here’s to a wonderful week coming up! Today is my Featured Post Day on the Gecko Galz blog and I’m stoked to share my DT inspiration project using elements from the Gecko Galz Good Fortune Collage Set and Frightfully Delightful Digital Junk Journal Kit. I created an awesome little accordion book with journal tags. OMG, so fun – I love the front cover!
Using six different Gecko Galz digital fortune teller images, I created pockets on each ‘page’ and tucked a journal card in each one. I rounded the corners and inked the edges of all the images and tags, and embellished each image with a Clear Star shimmer pen and/or Crystal Clear Sparkle Overlay marker for a little interest.

And here’s the back – love the Ouija board!
One final shot of the book closed and tied up. I adhered a length of sheer ribbon beneath the front cover that I wrapped around the back and tied in a bow. I’m stoked about how this turned out!

** 10/13/18 Top 3 Winner at A Gem of A Challenge! **
Hello, my crafty friends! It’s a cool brisk morning here in Colorado (weather I truly love) and I’m happy to be back this morning to share my Stinkin’ Inkers DT inspiration project for The Eyes Have It Challenge! We want to see your project… yep, you guessed it… with eyes on it! I had an absolute blast creating this card. I have a pack of mini wiggly eyes in my stash and out they came, four pairs of them!
I cut a large circle aperture in my background papers and stamped the sentiment, a spider web and some bats. Then I stamped four mummies, punched them out and colored them with Spectrum Noir markers. I added the mini wiggly eyes and tiny shimmery hearts to them after I positioned them in the aperture.
I kept the inside fairly simple with a stamped sentiment and a couple bats on a layered panel.
One more angled shot so you can see how cute these little mummies really are, lol! And yes, the patterns on their mini wiggly eyes is from the LED lights in the top of my light box, and it does kind of give them a little creep-appeal, lol!
