I Love You

Hi everyone! Hope you had a good weekend! This month’s ATC Challenge is live over at Happy Little Stampers and I’m excited to share my DT inspiration project with you today! The theme for our March ATC Challenge is Hearts and we’d love to see what you create for our challenge this month!

I created my first-ever coin and I’m loving the coin paired with the Hearts theme this month! I used two coordinating patterned papers, a couple die cuts and some tiny punched hearts.

I colored the dots on the top portion of the coin with a Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen. I thought some shimmer would give this coin a little interest. I stamped ‘I Love You’ over the top of the stamped and die cut string of hearts, and then added a die cut arrow and a few tiny punched hearts.

One final look… I’m really loving how this turned out. Not bad for a first attempt, eh?!

Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: Stampin’ Up Thick Whisper White, Stampin’ Up 2018-2020 In Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper, DCWV Shimmer Cardstock
Stamps: Stampin’ Up Sealed With Love stamp set
Ink: Stampin’ Up Strawberry Slush ink, Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen
Dies/Punches: Fiskars 2-1/2″ circle punch, Stampin’ Up Love Notes thinlits dies, Stampin’ Up Cookie Cutter punch (tiny hearts)
Accessories: Tim Holtz stamp platform

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project and will link up an ATC with us this month! We’d love to see what you create – either a card or a coin! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time! ;)

Scrappy hugs,

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
