Hi everyone! Wow, oh wow… we’re starting the middle of the year! Can you believe it?! It’s time for another fun challenge over at Love To Craft Challenge Blog and I”m happy to share my DT inspiration project for LTCCB #35 – June Anything Goes! I created a pretty anniversary card in one of my favorite color combos of pink and green!
I created a green card base and rounded one corner for a little interest. I stamped the heart strip (an old Stamp Camp stamp my beloved sister gave me a number of years ago) in pink ink, embossed it with clear embossing powder and layered it on light pink cardstock. The pretty patterned paper that I put across the bottom is from a new paper pad I just got at Hobby Lobby and I’m in love! I added a thin strip of the light pink cardstock to border the printed paper, and embellished it with some tiny pink flat-back pearls.
I decorated the inside panel with some leftover strips of paper and cardstock used on the front, and stamped a simple sentiment. The front and inside sentiments are also from Stamp Camp sentiment stamp sets.
One more look… I’m smitten with every aspect of this card – from the color combo to the stamps and the patterned paper!
Products used:
Cardstock/Paper: Stampin’ Up Old Olive and Blushing Bride cardstock, The Paper Shelter Country Road paper pack
Stamps: Stamp Camp Heart Strip stamp, Stamp Camp Simple Sentiments 1 and Simple Sentiments 2 stamp sets
Ink: Stampin’ Up Lovely Lipstick ink, Versamark
Dies/Punches: Kadomaru Pro corner rounder
Accessories: Tim Holtz stamp platform, Hero Arts clear embossing powder, Darice tiny pink flat-back pearls
I hope you’ve enjoyed this card and will link up an anything goes project with us this month! We can’t wait to see what you’re working on! Thanks so much for stopping by – we’ll see you again soon!
Scrappy hugs,
Such pretty paper. I have several Stamp Camp stamps and still use them occasionally, she was a nice lady to deal with, xoxo
