Hi everyone! I hope your week has started off rather nicely! It’s so amazing to me how quickly the weeks go by, and then weekends go by even faster! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’m stoked to be back on the CutCardStock blog today with an awesome DT inspiration project featuring our Stardream Metallic cardstock that’s on sale this month so be sure to stock up! Several weeks ago I posted my first ‘disappearing nine patch card’ which was showcased in a recent Splitcoast Stampers newsletter HERE. I enjoyed it so much that I created another one with one small variation – the use of stitched square dies! I LOVE Christmas cards in non-traditional colors, and the pink and green color combo has always been one of my favs!

I created the patchwork piece using the My Favorite Things Stitched Square STAX Die-namics cut from Stardream Metallic Fairway cardstock and several additional pink and green patterned digital papers. I cut a top-folding square card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from Stardream Metallic Azalea cardstock and a slightly smaller one from Solar White cardstock which I adhered together and then adhered the patchwork piece to it. Using the CUTplorations Two Reindeer Dies, I die cut two jumping deer from Stardream Metallic Azalea cardstock, layered them together and adhered them to the patchwork piece. I stamped the sentiment from the Concord & 9th Home for the Holidays stamp set in green ink, die cut it with a banner die from the Concord & 9th Home for the Holidays Stacks Dies, and adhered it to the patchwork piece to complete the card front.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of pink patterned digital paper and a narrow strip of Stardream Metallic Fairway cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the The Project Bin Maybe Christmas stamp set in green ink and layered the panel on Stardream Metallic Azalea cardstock.

And one more peek… I SO love this ‘disappearing nine patch card’ – and the Stardream Metallic cardstock really makes it look amazing!

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D
