Let’s Celebrate Tag Card

Hey everybody! Happy Tuesday – I hope your week is off to a great start! I mentioned in my post yesterday that the September 2022 Scrapbook Kit has arrived in the ScrapbookingStore and I’m back this morning to share another DT inspiration project. I really like all the birthday-themed papers, coordinating stickers and upgrades in this collection. And you know me – I love having a variety of birthday cards in my stash, and I’m particularly fond of florals and bold patterns, so this kit is a ‘win-win’ in my book!

I’ve been on a mini slimline kick lately because it’s such a great size. I cut a 3-1/2″ x 6″ mini slim card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Flamingo cardstock and a floral pattern paper from the collection.

I cut a matching floral tag from the collection and layered it on three layers of cardstock for dimension. I added a bamboo cord loop and the flower portion of an icon paperclip from the upgrades to the top of the tag, as well as a scalloped border and sentiment sticker from the sticker sheet to the bottom of the tag. I cut a die cut alpha from the upgrades in half and adhered the halves beneath the tag. The final touch was adding 5mm pink pearls to the bottom of the tag.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of the floral pattern paper and Flamingo cardstock used on the front. I added a sentiment sticker from the sticker sheet and layered the panel on Flamingo cardstock.
