Hello

Hi friends! Another weekend has rolled around and I can’t believe it’s April 1st already! I’m thrilled to share that I’m guesting for Deanne over at If You Give A Crafter A Cookie this month, so here I am with a project for Challenge #179 April – Green! Green just happens to be my favorite color so I used lots of green on this friendship card featuring the Art Impressions Oh Sing Window Stamp and the Shadowbox Window Die! I totally love the Ai window stamps line!

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from 110# Solar White cardstock along with a layering panel from a pretty pale green floral paper from the Stampin’ Up All Abloom Designer Series Paper Pack. I die cut the window through the front flap and assembled the window frame and apron which I die cut from CutCardStock Pop Tone Jellybean Green cardstock. I die cut the sentiment from Jellybean Green and Camomile cardstock and layered them together beneath the window.

Using the Art Impressions Oh Sing Window Stamp and Cornflower Blue, Yellow, Olive Green, May Green, Deep Green, Light Gray, Gray, and Gray Brown Zig Clean Color Real Brushmarkers, I colored the image, trimmed it and adhered it in the shadowbox.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with strips of the pale green floral paper and Jellybean Green cardstock used on the front. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Happy Thing stamp set in Catherine Pooler Eucalyptus ink.

I'm definitely what one could consider a crafting junkie! I love making cards, 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, mini albums and gift bags), mixed media projects, altering items, as well as occasional beading and making jewelry! Fortunately, hubby is very supportive! Life is good! :D

  1. Thank you so much! We have power, lol! Couldn’t survive at all without that! Our internet crashed on March 10th and it’s been a royal pain! 🙄
