Happy Father’s Day

Hi friends, happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week! Our new challenge is live this morning over at Creative Creases and I’m delighted to share my DT inspiration project for Challenge #104. My inspiration for this adorable origami style folded card came from Rachel Tessman’s video HERE. There are quite a few videos out there for shirt cards but this is the one I landed on a while back just prior to designing my own shirt card template. I hope you try this folded one – it’s definitely fun!

With a sheet of 20# copy paper in hand and Rachel’s video on my phone, I folded the shirt. I added panels of CutCardStock Lessebo Navy Blue cardstock and a print from the Crafter’s Companion Just For Men Urban 6×6 paper pad. I used some ancient (yep, I mean old) brown brads from my stash for the buttons. The front sentiment is from the Trinity Stamps A Sentiment For (Almost) Everything stamp set. I didn’t write down which stamp set I used for the inside sentiment and now I can’t remember, lol. If it comes to me, I will update this post.

  1. What a great Father’s Day card, Leslie! I don’t think I’ve seen this fun fold before. I have the perfect DSP to make a dad’s shirt, too! Great inspiration! Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. A dad would be pleased with this one as it is truly masculine looking. Good choice of PP for the shirt. Lots of work in the folding but worth it for the end result.
