11/2/25 Weekly Favorite (favorited by two fellow crafters) at Splitcoast Stampers!
Hey everybody! a very happy Monday to you! Lots of people loathe Mondays but it’s just another day when you’re retired! I’m up on the Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L blog today sharing a tutorial for making a faux side step card! This has become one of my favorite kinds of step cards because it’s so easy and looks like the real thing! I grabbed some papers and ephemera from the new Keep It Simple Boo To You collection to build the card, and put it all together with E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser, 3D Foam Squares, Thin 3D Foam Squares, and Dual Tip Glue Pen. These are some of my favorite products and they’re all from Scrapbook Adhesives!

I cut the card base pieces from CutCardStock Lessebo Pitch Black cardstock along with layering panels from the Keep It Simple Boo To You 6×9 Collection Pack. I assembled the card and embellished it with Keep It Simple Boo To You Hey Boo Die Cut Pieces and brown gemstones.

I cut the back panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with some additional die cuts. I’ve included an angled shot below so you can see the cool construction. It’s a fun one so be sure to check out my tutorial on the Scrapbook Adhesives blog!

Leslie, I haven’t made this fold in forever so thank you for sharing it showing off your adorable patterned paper. You have inspired me to make this with the pumpkin and plaid papers I have. The sentiment on the back is so fun. Have a blessed day being retired with all your fur babies!
