Celebrate the Little Things

Howdy peeps – I hope you’re having a great week! It’s hard to believe Christmas is just a little more than a month away but I’m pretty much finished with my Christmas crafting. How about you? I’m up on the CutCardStock blog today with a tutorial for making a side accordion panel card which is one of my favorite fun folds. I used Sunset Orange, Flame Orange, and White (all from our Lessebo line) which I paired with papers, ephemera and die cuts in my stash. I’m still trying to use up stuff in my stash rather than buy more and I actually think I’ve done pretty well. I totally love how this card turned out – everything coordinates really nicely!

I cut the card base and folded element from Lessebo Sunset Orange along with layering panels from coordinating prints in the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo Celebrate The Little Things Collection Kit. I added some ephemera and die cuts from the same collection kit, layering the focal on the front on a circle die cut from Flame Orange cardstock. I finished off the front with some Trinity Stamps Topaz Twinkle rhinestones. I cut a panel for the back from Lessebo White and embellished it with a strip from the same collection kit, and left it blank to write a custom message. Be sure to see my tutorial on the CutCardStock blog if you’d like to learn how to make this awesome card!

Crazy cat lady and crafting junkie! We care for 15 feline rescues and just added a Forkie pup to the tribe (Frenchie + Yorkie)! I’m addicted to stamping and love making cards, ATCs, and 3-D projects (especially paper shoes, paper purses and mini albums). I also dabble in mixed media, art journaling, altered art and custom jewelry. If you’re looking for me, I’ll either be in my studio or getting some kitty or puppy lovins! ;)
