frosty fun diorama card

Hey everybody! Well, yet another week has flown by and it’s Saturday again! That’s not a bad thing, right?! Only a few more days until the big man in the red suit shows up! I’m delighted to share a DT inspiration project for Keep It Simple which features our new Little Snowmen collection that launched last month along with our new 3D Diorama Card Dies. OMGosh, y’all, these are the most fun products EVER! There’s nothing like the WOW factor when the recipient opens a diorama card, especially when it’s full of sweet little snow people!

Using the 3D Diorama card dies, I cut the card base from CutCardStock Basis Natural cardstock. I cut layering panels and snow hills from assorted prints in the Little Snowmen 12×12 Collection Pack. I stamped the images and sentiment in brown ink, colored the images (from the Little Snowmen Collection Stamps) with alcohol markers, and cut them all with the coordinating outline dies. And as with all 3D projects, the assembly was the most fun! I finished the front with a few Back To Basics Royal Enamel Dots, and stick a white one on the center of the bow.

I cut a panel for the back from the Basis Natural cardstock and embellished it with a border from the bonus cut-apart sheet in the Little Snowmen Collection Pack. I stamped another sentiment in brown ink and cut it with the coordinating die, and layered the panel on another print from the collection. SO fun – and the best part is that this card folds flat for mailing!
