Lucky Shopping Cart

Hey everybody, happy Fri-YAY! I hope you have something fun planned this weekend! I’m up on the Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L blog today with an inspiration project created with a super cute SVG cut file from Cricut Design Space and some of my most favorite Scrapbook Adhesives products! I originally saw this shopping cart made in a Valentine theme by a designer on the 12×12 Cardstock Shop DT who linked to the creator of the cut file in Cricut Design Space. I thought it was so stinkin’ cute I just had to make one in a Lucky St. Patty’s Day theme!

Using Louise Beauregard’s Shopping Cart SVG cut file in Cricut Design Space, I cut the shopping cart base from CutCardStock 12×12 Scottish Highlands, the wheels from CutCardStock Lessebo Pitch Black, and all the layering panels from 12×12 Cardstock Shop Lichen Encore Textured 12×12 cardstock. Then I assembled it using a combination of the E-Z Runner Micro Refillable Dispenser, E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser, and Dual Tip Glue Pen. I used some old green glitter brads in my stash for the center of the wheels.

I also found the Shamrock Window Decoration and Lucky Shamrock Font SVG cut files in Cricut Design Space. I cut the shamrocks from the green in the Brutus Monroe Rainbow Glitterstock and the shamrock layers and ‘lucky’ word from Lessebo Pitch Black. I used the E-Z Runner Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser to adhere the shamrock layers together and Adhesive Sheet on the back of the words. I employed the “Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside” technique using Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors (black) and 3D Foam Circles White Mix to create some embellishments for the shamrocks. I adhered the shamrocks on the sides of the shopping card with Thin 3D Foam Squares White Mix.

Here are a couple more angles of this adorable 3D project. Now to decide what to put in it… maybe some candy, chocolate coins, tags, or mini cards! Or just leave it empty and display it on a mantel or side table! Eeeeek, so stinkin’ cute I can’t stand it!
