03/20/26 Spotlight Winner at Alphabet Challenge Blog!
Happy Friday, everybody! Has Spring ‘sprung’ where you are? It’s working on it here and I’ll be happy to finally see it! I’m stoked to share a Keep It Simple DT inspiration project featuring the new KIS Cuts Stitched Pennants Dies along with papers and die cut pieces from our Simply Spring collection and a few other items on the website. I absolutely love shaped cards and I really like how this birthday card turned out.

Using a Stitched Pennants die, I cut the card base from Solar White cardstock along with a solid layering panel from the Back To Basics Black & White 12×12 Collection Pack and a couple coordinating prints in the Simply Spring 12×12 Collection Pack. I tore the edge of the floral paper for a little interest and then fashioned a floral cluster from the Simply Spring Die Cut Pieces, popping the small one in the center up on a foam square.
I added a twine bow (using Lawn Fawn White Hemp Twine) and some Back To Basics Black Enamel Dots. The final step was adding a stamped and fussy cut sentiment from the Back To Basics Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set, stamped in Catherine Pooler Polished ink.

I cut the inside panels using the same larger Stitched Pennants die and tore the black layer to match the front. I added a couple more florals from the Simply Spring Die Cut Pieces along with another stamped and fussy cut sentiment from the Back To Basics Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set.
