Geometric-inspired thank you card

Hey everybody – I hope your Friday is totally amazing! I’m up on the Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L blog today with a geometric-inspired thank you card featuring rounded jewels shapes and shiny bronze embellishments created with Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors and 3D Foam Circles White Mix. By now you know that I love the ‘Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside’ technique and use it on quite a few of my projects these days. It’s such a simple process that really adds a lot to a design. And I used a nice variety of Scrapbook Adhesives products to put this card together. Definitely could be used for a male or female thank you, don’t you think?

I cut the card base and front layering panel from Neenah Classic 100# Linen Solar White cardstock. I used CutCardStock Lessebo Sunset Orange, Pitch Black, Brick Orange and Sunflower Yellow for the geometric shapes, all cut with two sizes of Hero Arts Rounded Jewels Infinity Dies. I popped the small ones up on 3D Foam Squares White Mix and 3D Foam Squares Black Mix.

I employed the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside technique using bronze foil from the Metallic Transfer Foil Sheets Nature Colors along with 3D Foam Circles White Mix. I stamped a sentiment from the Keep It Simple Paper Crafts Thank You Sentiments stamp set in Versafine Onyx Black ink, and then adhered the panel to the card base with Crafty Foam Tape. I do love the dimension this gives.

I cut the inside panel from CutCardStock Basis White cardstock and layered it on Lessebo Pitch Black and then Lessebo Sunset Orange. The E-Z Runner Grand Permanent Strips Refillable Dispenser was used to adhere these layers. To carry the design to the inside, I adhered two die cuts with the Dual Tip Glue Pen and added a couple more bronze embellishments. I stamped another sentiment from the same stamp set in black ink, and this completed the card.
