Rad Dad

Hi friends! Happy weekend – I hope you’re having a good one. I’m delighted to share that I was a Top 3 Winner over at Dragonfly Dreams a little while back and was invited to guest for an upcoming challenge, so here I am! The new challenge launched this morning and the theme is Masculine so a ‘rad’ Father’s Day card was definitely in order. I used the Stampin’ Up Custom Tee stamp set along with the T-Shirt Builder Framelits to make this CAS black and white card, and I love how it turned out! Sometimes less is definitely more… no bling or anything!

I cut a standard A2 size card base from 110# Solar White cardstock, rounded the lower right corner, and embellished it with Doodlebug Design Beetle Black Swiss Dots Washi Tape. I cut a narrow strip of 80# Solar White, angled the ends, and adhered it across the center of the washi tape for a little interest.

I stamped the bow tie and T-shirt with sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black using the Stampin’ Up Custom Tee stamp set and then cut them with the T-Shirt Builder Framelits. I popped the bow tie up on a small foam square cut in half, and then popped the T-shirt up on larger foam squares. Super simple!

I used the Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy stamp set to stamp the inside sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black.
