Hey everybody, I hope your week is going along nicely and you have time to do something fun! I’m back this morning with a super cute Keep It Simple project tutorial that I created for the How-To’s section on the KIS website. This faux narrow panel step card features papers and die cut pieces from our new Bugs collection. OMGosh, if you haven’t seen this collection yet, you are in for a major treat! It is so stinkin’ cute I can’t even stand it!

I won’t go into a huge amount of detail here, so be sure to see my tutorial on the Keep It Simple website if you want more details on how I made this card. I cut the card base and faux narrow panel from 110# Solar White, along with layering panels from coordinating prints in the 6×9 Bugs Collection Pack. I used the third smallest die in the KIS Cuts Stitched Scallop Circles to cut the focal panel from Solar White and then the fourth largest die in the Back To Basics Stitched Circles Nested Dies to cut a layer from a patterned paper. I grabbed an assortment of die cuts from the Bugs Die Cut Pieces and a few Back To Basics Teal Enamel Dots to embellish the front.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White and embellished it with a patterned paper strip and a couple more die cuts.
