Hi friends, happy Tuesday – I hope you’re having a good week! I’m up on the Scrapbook Adhesives By 3L blog sharing a tutorial for a swirly circles thank you card. Have you ever heard of a swirly circles card element? It’s a fun one to make and gives the optical illusion of a spinning spiral! We have a couple NEW Scrapbook Adhesives products that we’re showcasing. We now carry 3mm thick foam squares and strips in white and black! Very excited to share this project using 1mm, 2mm and 3mm white foam squares, along with 3mm white foam strips and holographic transfer foil! You know I absolutely love the Wear Your Adhesive on the Outside technique!

I won’t go into a huge amount of detail here, so be sure to see my tutorial on the Scrapbook Adhesives blog if you want to know more. I used CutCardStock Lessebo Arctic Blue and Stardream Metallic Neptune cardstock, along with Keep It Simple Cheerful Cottage 6×9 Papers. The swirly circles element was created using the Fiskars 1-1/2″ and 2-1/2″ circle punches, and the Stampin’ Up! 2″ circle punch.

The sentiment stamp is from the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Pears stamp set, stamped in Catherine Pooler Bay Breeze ink, and cut with a Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Pears die. I used Cottage Cutz Garden Stems dies, My Favorite Things Stitched Scallop Basic Edges 2 dies, and Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Pears dies. I assembled the card with E-Z Runner Ultra Strong Refillable Dispenser along with Dual Tip Glue Pen.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a floral strip cut from an additional print in the Keep It Simple Cheerful Cottage 6×9 papers. I stamped another sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Pears stamp set in the Bay Breeze ink, and adhered the panel to the inside of the card base. I really love how this turned out!
