Hey everybody! Happy Friday to you all! My new DT gig with the ScrapbookingStore is in full swing and I’m so loving the versatility of the papers and the embellishment upgrades in this month’s scrapbook kit! While the collection is beach-themed, I created a fun gift bag with a striped paper from the kit which will be used for a birthday. That’s what I mean by versatile! I’m wrapping up August’s shares with this gift bag along with three artist trading coins embellished with stickers from the upgrade sticker sheet to tuck into the gift bag!
Using the Lawn Fawn Goody Bag die from my stash, I cut the front and back pieces of the gift bag from a red and white striped pattern paper in the kit and assembled it.
I embellished the front of the gift bag with a stitched banner (cut from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Eris cardstock using the JustRite Stitched A2 Banners and Rectangles die set) and quite a few stickers, a clothespin, and a yellow sun clip from the embellishment upgrades. I also added some gemstones which completed the front.
Here are few more shots of the gift bag from different angles.
To make the artist trading coins that I tucked into the gift bag, I punched 2-1/2” circles from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and embellished them with CutCardStock Pop Tone Sweet Tooth and Cotton Candy cardstock, American Crafts POW Rouge Glitter Paper, bling, and stickers from the upgrade sticker sheet.

Hey everybody! I’m loving this new DT gig with the ScrapbookingStore and I’m still having a blast creating inspiration projects with this month’s scrapbook kit! Love all the beach-themed prints and colors of the papers in this collection along with the coordinating stickers! I have a fun set of six Summer Fun artist trading cards to share with you today… you know how I love me some ATCs and you know I don’t trade ’em! These babies are going in my collection, lol!
I cut ATC card bases (measuring 2-1/2” x 3-1/2”) from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and rounded the corners of each. I picked out six different papers from the kit for the backgrounds and embellished each one with stickers from the included sticker sheet along with paper strips, washi tape and bling from my stash. These were so stinkin’ fun!
And one more peek at the set… so happy with how these turned out! The fun thing about working with kits is that everything coordinates!

Hey everybody, Happy Tuesday! I hope you’re having a great week so far! I’ve popped in this morning to share an awesome Tape Runner DT inspiration project! I created an artist trading card featuring a phantom stamped background along with a super adorable Cottage Cutz die set, and of course, all elements (except the pearls) were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. You know how I love ATCs, and this one was definitely a fun one!
As mentioned above, all elements on this ATC were adhered with Retractable Tape Runner. Wet glue was used only to adhere the pearls. I cut two 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ ATC bases, trimmed just a tiny bit off one of them, and rounded the corners on both. I colored the trimmed panel with an orange alcohol marker. When it was dry, I stamped the birthday fishes sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Whale Done stamp set in a vertical orientation in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Next, I stamped the RiverCity Rubber Works Birthday Background in Versamark and heat embossed it with Hero Arts Clear Embossing Powder.
I adhered the trimmed, stamped and embossed ATC panel onto the remaining ATC base. Using the Cottage Cutz Goldfish & Bowl die set, I die cut all the elements from 110# Solar White cardstock. I colored them with alcohol markers and adhered them to the ATC. The finishing touch was adding Eyelet Outlet white pearl bling across the top of the fishbowl.
And one more peek… how stinkin’ cute is this ATC?! I absolutely LOVE this die set and it’s so awesome to have good strong Tape Runner adhesive to hold it all together!
I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s project and you’re inspired to get your craft on! Be sure to check out the ah-mazing Tape Runner, Retractable Tape Runner and Highlight Tape Runner at TapeRunner.com! Hi peeps! A very Happy Hump Day – hope you’re having a great week! Most people know that Blogger discontinued Feedburner last summer, and several of my friends with Blogger blogs switched over to Follow. It as the mechanism for inviting people to follow their blogs. Well this morning it dawned on me that I hadn’t seen posts for quite some time from those friends using Follow.It. So I went to log into my Follow. It account to see what was going on and got a message that my account had been deactivated. WTH?! Deactivated? Why? So I sent them a message and have yet to get a response although they have REactivated my account (because I was able to log in a little bit ago) and my friends’ blogs are all nicely listed, just as before, with no rhyme or reason for the deactivation. And what nice (NOT) customer service to not response to my message. I’m so tempted to investigate other alternatives for my challenge blogs if this is the poor level of business and customer service they are putting out there. Okay, now on to my project! ;) Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! I’ve stopped in this afternoon to share an artist trading card I created for The Outlawz February Freebie/Progressive Challenge. We were gifted the adorable Flower Pot Hat from Hetty Clare to create with this month, and it’s been a minute since I’ve created an ATC so that’s what I decided on.
I cut two standard 2-1/2″ x 3-1/2″ ATC blanks from CutCardStock Basis 110# White cardstock and rounded the corners. I printed the digital image on CutCardStock Basis 80# White cardstock, colored it with alcohol markers, and fussy cut it leaving a very narrow margin around the image. I adhered the image to one of the ATC blanks, added three Eyelet Outlet Mini Lady Bug Brads (where the lady bugs were drawn on the image), and adhered the second ATC blank to the back. I applied tiny dots of Ranger Glossy Accents to the centers of each flower and the dots on the image, and added a Tim Holtz Quotations Metallic Sticker which completed the ATC.
And one more peek… such a cute image that made an awesome ATC!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this project and will come over and join in all the fun at The Outlawz Challenges! Lots of fun going on! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time! ;)
Happy Tuesday, friends! It’s Day 2 of the 2021 Cat Lovers Hop and I’ve popped in this morning to share a fun cat-themed project I finished yesterday afternoon! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you – I really appreciate your support! This is the 7th year that Janis has organized this amazing Hop and it’s going on until the 30th, so if you’re a fellow cat lover, come join us! There’s fun and games to join in every day, and Janis has lined up some pretty awesome prizes to give away at the end!
If you know me, you know that I’m a certified ATC geek and I just had to create another Artist Trading Cube to add to my growing ATC collection of cards, coins and cubes! This one features stamped cat images from a Laurel Burch mini stamp set I’ve had in my stash for a while which I colored with Karin Brush Markers. The ten stamps in this set are 3″ x 3″ which are the perfect size for a 2-1/2″ cube. Four of the ten stamps are cat images and since there are six sides to the cube, I duplicated two of the images but colored them differently. The computer-generated sentiments were left over from another project so I scooped them up to use on this cube – worked out beautifully! ;)
So happy with how this turned out! ATCs of any sort are so much fun to create! Unfortunately, I don’t trade mine as the name suggests… I fall in love with every one I create and I want to keep them for my collection, lol! ;)
I hope you’ve enjoyed this Artist Trading Cube and you’ll consider joining us! Pop over to the 2021 Cat Lovers Hop to get all the details! Thanks so much for stopping by today – we’ll see you next time! ;)
Hi everyone! A very Happy Saturday to you – I hope you’ve had a great week! We’ve been busy this week with human and feline doctor appointments. Cute story… As you probably already know, we are crazy cat people, and Ed is known as the “Cat Whisperer” (lol). Several weeks ago he brought a sweet little family of mom, dad and four six-month-old kittens to our back yard shed (and built an attached catio so they are protected from predators) that he rescued from an abandoned building. Mom has since given birth to four more kittens two weeks ago but three didn’t survive. So the four six-month-old females got spayed this week, dad has an appointment to get neutered next week (I’m sure he won’t be happy about that, lol), and mom will get spayed as soon as her remaining kitten is weaned. We are hopeful that they will stay in our back yard since this is where their food is. We have ten inside cats already so this is the best we can do for them. <3 Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a super fun set of four breakfast-themed ATCs (cards and coins) featuring our Breakfast Stamps and Bacon Egg & Toast Brads, along with Blue Jewel Bling, Clear Jewel Bling, Green Jewel Bling and Gray Enamel Dots! I absolutely LOVE coordinating stamps and brads! :D
And one more look… totally loving how these turned out! I think I mentioned in my last post that I’m a real sucker for pun-y sentiments, so here we are again, lol! ;)

Hi everybody! I hope you’re having a fabulous weekend and doing something fun! I’m a little late with this post but I’m thrilled to be showcasing three more projects created with the Paper Goods over at STAMPlorations! As is the norm when playing with STAMPlorations goodies, I’m having a blast! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! These projects were shown on the STAMPlorations blog on August 23rd which was the day after I got home from the hospital after suffering a heart attack. I had what they call a widow-maker’s heart attack with 100% blockage in my left anterior descending. I spent four days in the hospital and came home with a ton of medications that I’ll be on for the rest of my life, along with lots of diet changes and an exercise regimen. I’ve lost ten pounds but I certainly don’t recommend having a heart attack to do it, lol! ;)
So the posts you’ve seen in my blog over the past two weeks were scheduled in way in advance, and this post is the first fresh post I’ve written since I’ve been home from the hospital. Now, for the fun stuff… for this STAMPlorations feature I have created three fun Christmas projects using the Christmas Backgrounds ATC #1 Ephemera, available in the Paper Goods section of the store. These ATC Backgrounds are so awesome and can be used to create not only artist trading cards, but tags and ornaments as you’ll see here shortly! My first project is a set of six ATCs, cards and coins, featuring the Christmas Backgrounds ATC #1 Ephemera with stamped sentiments from the Joy clear stamp set. All have heat embossing and/or glossy or shimmer overlay. These all have some nice shine going on!
I cut and punched the ATC bases from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock and adhered them to the back of the individual card and coin panels trimmed and punched from the Christmas Backgrounds ATC #1 Ephemera. I stamped sentiments on each one from the Joy clear stamp set in black, brown, blue, silver and gold ink, and added clear embossing, Glossy Accents, Clear Star Gelly Roll pen, and Crystal Clear Sparkle Overlay marker to embellish each one. I ran gold and silver paint pens around the edge of each ATC to finish them off. Here is a straight and hand-held angle shot of each one (pardon my thumb, lol):
Other products used: Cardstock/Paper: Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock Ink: Catherine Pooler Suede Shoes, Black Jack and Over Coffee ink; Delicata Golden Glitz and Silvery Shimmer ink; Versamark, Sakura Clear Star Gelly Roll pen, Spectrum Noir Crystal Clear Sparkle Overlay marker, Memento Rich Cocoa marker, Posca Gold and Silver pens Dies/Punches: Fiskars 2-1/2″ circle punch Accessories: Tonic Studios 12″ Guillotine Paper Trimmer, Bearly Art precision craft glue, MISTI stamp tool, Hero Arts clear embossing powder, Glossy Accents
My second project is a set of four Christmas tags also featuring the Christmas Backgrounds ATC #1 Ephemera. I created two of these tags in the traditional colors of red and green, and the other two in non-traditional colors of teal and purple.
Ornaments are super easy to make. First, I created a beaded tail and loop for the top. I punched circles from six of the images from the Christmas Backgrounds ATC #1 Ephemera, scored them down the middle, and adhered each side to the next, trapping the beading wire and ribbon in the center, with a simple bow adhered at the bottom.
I hope you’ve enjoyed these projects and you’re inspired to get crafty!
