Get well soon

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday to you! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m thrilled to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a triple fold card that has a belly band and features some of the new quarantine brads in the store, along with enamel dots which are some of my personal favs! You know how I love fun folds – this is the second one of these I’ve made and it’s such an easy one!

I pulled out a paper pad that hasn’t seen the light of day in quite a while and chose two coordinating prints that complimented the brown cardstock, and cut panels for the front and side flaps. I created a die cut element from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Lagoon cardstock and Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock on which I stamped the ‘get well’ sentiment, affixed a Kleenex Brad and Mask and Soap Brads, and added several White Enamel Dots. I embellished the corners with hearts punched from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Lagoon cardstock scrap and slightly larger enamel dots.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with narrow strips and punched hearts from CutCardStock Stardream Metallic Lagoon cardstock, stamped the sentiment and adhered the panel to the inside of the card base.

And one more peek… so loving how this turned out! I think this would cheer up the recipient!

You’re SO cool…

Happy Saturday, friends! How’s the weather where you are? It’s pretty chilly here and I love it! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a fun card that would be a great Valentine, anniversary or wedding card, or a ‘just because’ kind of card! This card features some of our newest brads in the store which I paired with some awesome Washi Tape. Super simple design!

I cut a standard A2 sized top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock along with a slightly smaller black cardstock panel for layering. The sentiment is computer-generated which I printed on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and trimmed so the sentiment was in the top one-third of the panel, and layered it on the black cardstock panel. I covered a square scrap of Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock with Pink Checked Washi Tape and die cut a stitched square from it. I added two Ice Cream Brads and adhered several tiny black punched hearts. I adhered the die cut square to the layered white panel and adhered it to the card base.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of the Pink Checked Washi Tape and a narrow strip of black cardstock, stamped the sentiment in black ink and layered the panel on the black cardstock.

One more look… really loving this simple design!

Advice from a sunflower

Happy Saturday, friends! Hope you’re having a great weekend! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m excited to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a pretty CAS ‘thinking of you’ card featuring several awesome products – but the main attraction on this card is the sunflowers! I love all kinds of flowers but I would have to say that the sunflower is my favorite!

I rounded one bottom corner of my Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock card base to add a little interest. I adhered a small piece of patterned paper to the bottom of the front panel, added a strip of Wood Washi Tape and layered the panel on dark brown cardstock. I added a die cut stem and several Sunflower Brads, and adhered the layered panel to the card base. I die cut a digital sentiment and popped it up on foam pieces for a little dimension. The final touch was the addition of several small Ivory Enamel Dots.

I printed a small sunflower from the digital set on Neenah Classic Crest Baronial Ivory cardstock for the inside and trimmed the panel with the sunflower in the lower right corner. I colored the small sunflower with alcohol markers and embellished the panel with strips of the patterned paper and dark brown cardstock, and stamped the sentiment in brown ink.

One last look… so loving how this turned out!

What the Cluck?

Happy Saturday to you, my friends! Hope you had a great week and you’re doing something fun this weekend! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a not-so-ordinary baby card using awesome brads, washi tape and enamel dots! Those who know me know that I have a warped sense of humor which is evident in this card!

I still had these brads and stamp set out on my desk from another card I made which will be showcased in a few months, and I couldn’t help myself… I had to make another card with them! I created a top folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and went with a yellow and red color combo which I thought complimented the chicken nicely. The dotted cardstock is some of my favorite so I used a scrap of yellow and white dotted across the bottom of the Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock background panel, topped it with a stripof Glitter Black Washi Tape and then added a thin strip of red cardstock. I added one Chicken Brad, stamped the sentiment in black ink and layered the panel on the red cardstock. I adhered the panel to the card base, and the finishing touch was the addition of several Black Enamel Dots.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with leftover strips of yellow dotted and red cardstock used on the front, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and layered the panel on the red cardstock.

And one more peek… this cracks me up! I love it!

It’s raining CATS and DOGS!

Happy Saturday, everyone! I hope you had a great week! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a fun cat and dog card inspired by our rescued feline fur babies. My husband and I are ‘crazy cat people’ and we have ten, and all but one are rescued. We love dogs too (in fact, we love ALL kinds of animals) but have found that cats tend to be easier if we decide to take a weekend trip. If you’re interested, you can read all about our fur babies HERE.

I created a top fold card base and a slightly smaller background panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. I created a computer-generated sentiment which I printed on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and adhered across the top of the panel, then put a strip of Weather Washi Tape just beneath it. Then the fun began adding Cat Quicklet Eyelets and Dog Quicklet Eyelets in a ‘raining-down’ fashion. I’ve never used quicklets before and these were so easy to set with a ballpoint pen! I adhered a piece of light blue cardstock to the card base, then adhered a piece of light blue craft foam to the back of the panel, and adhered the panel to the card base.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a strip of the washi tape and the light blue cardstock used on the front, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and layered the panel on the light blue cardstock.

And one more peek… such a fun card! LOVE these cat and dog quicklets!

Howdy, friends! A very Happy Saturday to you! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a masculine card featuring some of the coolest brads I’ve ever seen paired with black enamel dots! Masculine made easy! ;)

I created a standard A2 size top-folding cardstock from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock. I lightened a photo of a United States map I had on my laptop, printed it on 60# Hammermill copy paper and trimmed it down to use as the background for my card. I created a highway using a punch for the center lines and adhered it at an angle across the map. I stamped the sentiment in black ink, added three Motorcycle Brads and three Black Enamel Dots, and layered the panel on black cardstock. That’s it… it was THAT easy! ;)

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock and adhered a strip of the map and black cardstock down the left side, stamped the sentiment in black ink, and layered the panel on black cardstock.

And one more look… what a fun card! If you’re a fellow biker, you know we ride in groups! ;)

Too many dogs…

Happy Saturday, peeps! Hope you’ve got something fun planned this weekend – you can relax a little now that Christmas is behind us! I’m stoked to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a fun card for a crazy dog person featuring some fun brads paired with awesome washi tape and enamel dots!

I decided to go with a brown and black color combo for this card. I put strips of Glitter Black Washi Tape and Glitter Brown Washi Tape horizontally across the bottom of the background panel. I stamped the sentiment in brown ink, added four Dog Brads and several White Enamel Dots, and then layered the panel on black cardstock and adhered it to the card base.

For the inside, I used the black and brown glitter washi tape vertically on the left side of the panel, stamped the sentiment in brown ink, and layered the panel on black cardstock.

And one more peek… loving how this turned out! Several friends have asked me to make some dog cards, so here’s one for the books! ;)

Don’t stop believin’

Hi everyone! Happy Saturday – I hope you’ve had a great week! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a fun double flap Christmas card… and you know how much I love fun folds! I’ve had this one in my tutorial folder for a while and thought it would be fun to bring it around again to create a Christmas card.

I used a pretty chartreuse green cardstock for the card base and green plaid digital paper layered on gold foil cardstock for the left flap. I used a coordinating solid green digital paper layered on gold foil cardstock for the right flap. I tore several layers of white cardstock to create snow banks and randomly placed some Pine Tree Brads which I embellished with thin lines of glitter drops to resemble snow. I stamped Santa and his reindeer along with a sentiment in black ink, and then adhered the layered panel to the right flap. I added Ivory Enamel Dots to the left flap to complete the front.

I embellished the inside panel with a strip of Tree Washi Tape -Wide and a narrow strip of the chartreuse green cardstock, and stamped the sentiment in black ink.

And one more peek… I really do love this fold! And these brads and washi tape are pretty awesome too! ;)

Wishing you a latte Peace Love & Joy

Hello friends! How’s the weather where you are? We have a good bit of snow on the ground and I’m happy as I can be – I love me some snow! Affiliate links are used in this post at no cost to you. I really appreciate your support! I’m thrilled to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I created a card with a latte Christmas wishes on it! Imagine my surprise when I discovered I had a die with the same sentiments on it as these adorable little coffee cup brads! Completely coincidental!

I created a top-folding A2 card base (landscape this time rather than the usual portrait) from white cardstock along with white layering panels for the front and the inside. I also cut red textured cardstock panels for the front and inside, and then rounded all four corners on all the panels. I applied a strip of Christmas Pattern Washi Tape vertically down the left side of the front red panel, then added three Holiday Coffee Cup Brads and three White Enamel Dots. I stamped the first part of the sentiment in green ink and adhered a white layered die cut just below it to complete it. I dug into my glitter alpha sticker sets and found a white glitter ampersand that I colored with a green alcohol marker.

I embellished the inside panel with a strip of red textured cardstock, a very narrow strip of white cardstock and a strip of the Christmas Pattern Washi Tape. I rounded the four corners, stamped the sentiment in green ink and layered the panel on the red textured cardstock.

And one more peek… I really love how this turned out! I have to admit that I was a little unsure of how the partially stamped sentiment was going to look with the die cut, but I like it!

Merry Christmas Greetings

Hi everyone! Hope you’ve had a great week and have something fun (and safe) planned for this weekend! I’m happy to be back on the Eyelet Outlet blog today with another awesome DT inspiration project! I CASE’d my own Autumn design from a few months back and created a pretty Christmas card featuring a wreath embellished with some gorgeous brads!

I cut a 5.5″ square top-folding card base along with red dotted and striped cardstock panels. I applied strips of skinny red and green washi tape from the Skinny Holiday Washi Tape pack along with a strip of Skinny Gold Washi Tape at the seam, and then adhered the panel to the card base. I die cut a circular frame on which to build the wreath. I punched a bunch of leaves and adhered them to the frame, and then added single leaves here and there to fill in blank spots. I embellished the wreath with several Poinsettia Brads and 6 mm Red Gold Edge Jewel Brads, and a red bow at the bottom. I stamped the sentiment across the bottom and then adhered the wreath to the card front.

I embellished the inside panel with a leftover strip of the red dotted paper used on the front along with a strip of the Skinny Gold Washi Tape, stamped the sentiment in green ink and layered the panel on red cardstock.

And one more peek… so loving how this turned out! I only wish the gold washi tape looked as pretty in the photos as it is in real life!
