Hey everybody, happy last day of February! Can you believe it?! I’ve popped in this morning to share a Keep It Simple DT inspiration project featuring papers and stamps from our new My Little Greenhouse collection. I’ve made different versions of the diagonal tuck card over the years but this is a new version that I saw on Lisa Curcio’s blog a while back. I thought it would be a fun one to show off some of the products in this new collection.
I cut the card base and larger stitched circle on the front from CutCardStock Wild Salmon and Basis 110# Natural cardstock. I cut the rest of the layering panels and smaller stitched circle from assorted prints in the My Little Greenhouse 6×9 Collection Pack. Our Back To Basics Stitched Circles Nested Dies were used to cut the circles.
I stamped the images and sentiment from the My Little Greenhouse Collection Stamps in Catherine Pooler Icing on the Cake ink and colored the images with alcohol markers. I fussy cut them, as there was a delay from the manufacturer and we had not yet received the dies. I popped the sentiment up on several foam squares from our Back To Basics Adhesive Basics Squares & Strips, and added a few Back To Basics Ruby Enamel Dots which completed the card front.
I stamped an additional sentiment and small flower from the My Little Greenhouse Collection Stamps on the diagonally-cut inside panel. This is such an adorable Spring card!
