Hi everyone! Happy Thursday – I can’t believe we’re almost through another week! Where is the time going?! I’m delighted to be back to share another ScrapbookingStore DT inspiration project created with the amazing May 2023 Scrapbook Kit with Upgrades! I love all the different patterned papers in this month’s kit, and picked out three coordinating prints to make this pinwheel panel card. The focal element is a Chipboard Accent from the upgrades. I’ve made a few of these pinwheel cards over the years and they are so fun!

I cut the square card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from CutCardStock Pop Tone Black Licorice and a gingham pattern from this month’s kit. Using a My Favorite Things Stitched Square STAX, I die cut eight stitched squares for the pinwheel from two additional patterns in the collection along with layers cut from the Pop Tone Black Licorice cardstock. I adhered the pinwheel element to the card base and added a Chipboard Accent from the upgrades which I sanded with a Snow Block (a staple in my studio) and layered on a scrap piece of Solar White cardstock.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a scrap piece of the gingham print from the kit and narrow strip of Black Licorice cardstock used on the front. The finishing touch was adding a sentiment piece from the Frames & Tags in the upgrades.
