Hey everybody! Okay, this is the second of four posts for Keep It Simple today. I created this adorable party dress shaped card for a booth sample at the expos. It was also used for the die cutting Crafty Tips & Tricks feature on Instagram last weekend to commemorate National Craft Month in March! This card features the Back To Basics Party Dress dies along with papers, stamps and dies from our Cheerful Cottage collection.
Using the Back To Basics Party Dress dies, I cut the card base from Classic Crest Recycled 100% Classic Natural White cardstock and all the pieces of the party dress from a gorgeous floral print in the Cheerful Cottage collection. Adhering the pieces is like putting a puzzle together – so much fun! I used the Stampin’ Up 1″ circle punch to layer the gold flower on which I embellished with a Back To Basics Rose Enamel Dot. The sentiment is from the Back To Basics Birthday Sentiments stamp set which I trimmed and added with foam squares.
I layered a pink plaid print from the Cheerful Cottage collection on the inside. A Back To Basics Stitched Ovals Nested Die was used to cut the sentiment panel, and the sentiment is another one from the Back To Basics Birthday Sentiments stamp set. I totally love how this turned out!
