bearded guys CUDDLE better

Howdy peeps! Happy Monday – I hope you had a great weekend! I’m thrilled to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project featuring items from the new Lumberjack release! Love, love, love everything in this release! These guys make the best cards! I used the Collection Pack 12×12 Cardstock and Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock, Die Cut Pieces, Lumberjack Stamps and Camping Stamps for this card. Another card with an angled front flap that I just love! Wouldn’t this make a great Valentine?!

I cut a standard A2 size side-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and cut the front flap off at an angle. I cut a layering panel from a buffalo check print in the Lumberjack Collection Pack 12×12 Cardstock, and adhered a large lumberjack die cut from the Die Cut Pieces. I stamped a sentiment from the Lumberjack Stamps in Versamark and embossed it in Hero Arts White Embossing Powder. The finishing touch was adding several Eyelet Outlet Gray Enamel Dots.

I cut a short inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock along with a full size layering panel from CutCardStock Shadow Gray cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the Lumberjack Camping Stamps in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and layered the panel on the gray cardstock along with a buffalo check strip from the Lumberjack Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock.

Hey everybody! Can you believe we’re in the middle of October already?! Christmas will be here before we know it! I’m stoked to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share! Lumberjack is their newest release and OMGoodness, you are in for a real treat! Cute, cute products that are must-haves for your crafty stash, lol! I created a double easel fold using Collection Pack 12×12 Cardstock and Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock, Cards & Ephemera Die Cut Pieces, Die Cut Pieces, Camping Stamps and Camping Outline Dies. I also used Back To Basics Jade Collection Pack 12×12 Cardstock and Jade Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock which are already in the store.

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock, and created the double easel fold element from a green pattern in the Back To Basics Jade Collection Pack 12×12 Cardstock. I cut layering panels from a print in the Lumberjack Collection Pack 12×12 Cardstock.

I added items from the Lumberjack Cards & Ephemera Die Cut Pieces and Lumberjack Die Cut Pieces to both background sections. I stamped, colored and die cut the wooden sign using the Lumberjack Camping Stamp & Die Bundle, and the sentiment is from the same stamp set. The photo-bombing lumberjack just cracks me up, by the way! Bahahaha!

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock and embellished it with a print from the Lumberjack Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock. I stamped the sentiment in Memento Northern Pine ink and layered the panel on a dark green print from the Back To Basics Jade Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock.

Saddle On Up

Hey everybody! How’s your day going?! Life is beautiful here in southwestern Colorado and we’re totally enjoying our slightly cooler Autumn weather! I’m stoked to be back this afternoon with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share! You know how I love me some shaker cards, and this one featuring products from the new Little Cowgirl Birthday release is the absolute sweetest one ever! I used the Little Cowgirl Birthday Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock, Little Cowgirl Birthday Die Cut Pieces and Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set, along with the Back To Basics Rose Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock and Back To Basics Rose Enamel Hearts which are already in the store.

I cut a top-folding square card base along with layering panels from the 6×6 Collection Pack and the 6×6 Rose Collection Pack, and adhered the floral panel to the card base. I made a frame out of the rose panel and added several Scotch 3M Foam Strips to the back side. I adhered the large cowgirl on pony die cut from the Die Cut Pieces to the background panel, and added some Kat Scrappiness hollow square confetti (free sample with an order). I stamped a sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set in Memento Rich Cocoa ink on a lighter shade of rose cardstock in the Rose Collection Pack, punched it with a circle punch and layered it on a slightly larger Solar White cardstock punched circle. I added a Rose Enamel Heart to the punched sentiment, which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panel from 80# Solar White cardstock, embellished it with leftover strips of cardstock from the 6×6 Collection Pack and the 6×6 Rose Collection Pack used on the front, and stamped another sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set in Rich Cocoa ink.

Howdy peeps! Another post on Hump Day – I hope you’re having a great week! I’m stoked to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project created with products from the new Household Chore Gnomes release! I’m SO loving these guys! This congrats card features items from the Die Cut Pieces, Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock and Work Hard Stamps, along with the Back to Basics Royal Collection Pack 6×6 Cardstock and Back to Basics Royal Enamel Dots (both already in the store).

I cut a standard A2 size top-folding card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock and layering panels from the Household Chore Gnomes 6×6 Collection Pack and Back to Basics Royal 6×6 Collection Pack, and rounded the bottom right corner of each. I added a Cottage Cutz Double-Stitched Oval die cut and adhered the gnome and cleaning supplies (popped up on 1mm thick adhesive foam squares) from the Die Cut Pieces. I added some Back to Basics Royal Enamel Dots and a stamped sentiment from the Work Hard Stamps, which completed the card front.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock along with strips from the Household Chore Gnomes 6×6 Collection Pack and the Back to Basics Royal 6×6 Collection Pack. I stamped a sentiment from the Work Hard Stamps and added another die cut from the Die Cut Pieces.

9/30/22 Runner Up Winner at Classic Design Challenge!

Hey everybody! Happy Happy Tuesday! Is it (finally) cooling off where you are?! I hope so – we’re having some beautiful nighttime temps here in southwestern Colorado! Okay, I have to tell you – Keep It Simple has done it again! They’ve released another amazing collection and this one is called Household Chore Gnomes! I’m having a large time playing with these products! I created a thank you card featuring items from the Spring Cleaning Stamp & Die Bundle and Work Hard Stamp & Die Bundle. I also used the Back to Basics Royal Collection Pack 6×6 Double-Sided Cardstock and Royal Enamel Dots which are both already in the store.

I cut a top-folding square card base from Neenah Classic Crest 110# Solar White cardstock along with layering panels from the Back to Basics Royal Collection Pack. I created a wood floor by covering a strip of Solar White cardstock with Eyelet Outlet Wood washi tape. I stamped, colored and die cut gnomes from the Spring Cleaning Stamp & Die Bundle and the Work Hard Stamp & Die Bundle. I stamped a sentiment from the Spring Cleaning Stamps, punched it with a circle punch and layered it on a slightly larger punched circle. The finishing touch was adding several Back to Basics Royal Enamel Dots.

I cut the inside panel from Neenah Classic Crest 80# Solar White cardstock along with strips from the Back to Basics Royal Collection Pack, and then stamped a sentiment from the Work Hard Stamps.

And one more peek… love, love, love this card! What a super fun way to say thanks! Have I mentioned how much I love playing with this bundle?! LOL!

Just A Country Girl

Hey everybody! Here’s to a Terrific Tuesday! I’m stoked to be back with another Keep It Simple DT inspiration project to share using items from the new Little Cowgirl Birthday release! Can you tell I’m having a blast?! I used the Little Cowgirl Birthday Collection Stamp & Die Bundle, the Little Cowgirl Birthday Party Animals Stamp & Die Bundle and the Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments, along with the Little Cowgirl Birthday 4×9 Slimline Cardstock and the Little Cowgirl Birthday 6×6 Cardstock, and the Back to Basics Rose Enamel Hearts (already in the store) for this adorable slimline card which features a little country girl in a poultry parade! How stinkin’ cute is this?!

I cut my personal go-to size 3-3/4″ x 9″ slimline card base from Basis 110# White cardstock along with layering panels from Pop Tone Tangy Orange cardstock and Basis White cardstock. I cut a strip from a dainty floral pattern print in the Little Cowgirl Birthday 4×9 Slimline Cardstock pack. I stamped the flag (from the Little Cowgirl Birthday stamps) on a piece of yellow pattern print in the Little Cowgirl Birthday 6×6 Cardstock pack. I stamped a sentiment from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments stamps in brown ink on the flag and cut it with the coordinating outline die.

I stamped the little girl (from the Little Cowgirl Birthday stamps), and the goose, chicken and fence (from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Party Animals stamps), all in black ink on Basis White cardstock. I colored them with alcohol markers and cut them with the coordinating outline dies. I stamped another sentiment from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments stamps in brown ink and added several stamped hearts (from the same Sentiments stamp set) and a couple Back to Basics Rose Enamel Hearts.

I cut the inside panels from Pop Tone Tangy Orange and Basis White cardstock, and embellished them with leftover strips of floral cardstock (from the Little Cowgirl Birthday 4×9 Slimline Cardstock pack) and the Tangy Orange cardstock. I stamped the sentiment (from the Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments stamps) in brown ink which completed the card.

And one more peek… super happy with how this turned out! These products are so amazing and I love that everything coordinates! The sky is literally the limit!

Hey everybody! Happy Saturday to you all – I hope you have something fun planned this weekend! We are waking up to cooler temps here in southwestern Colorado and it’s wonderful! I’m absolutely delighted to share my debut Keep It Simple DT inspiration project with you today featuring stamps and dies from the new Little Cowgirl Birthday release! OMGoodness, can you say adorable?! I used the Little Cowgirl Birthday Collection Stamp & Die Bundle and Little Cowgirl Birthday Sentiments, as well as the Back to Basics Rose Collection Pack and Back to Basics Rose Enamel Hearts already in the store for this split panel birthday card!

I used Basis 110# White cardstock for the A2 size card base and adhered panels cut from the Back to Basics Rose Collection Pack. I stamped the image from the Little Cowgirl Birthday stamps in black ink, stamped it again in Versamark, and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I colored the image with alcohol markers and die cut it with a die from the coordinating Little Cowgirl Birthday outline dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Little Cowgirl Sentiments stamps in black ink in the upper right corner, then adhered the image to the card front. I added tiny iridescent gemstones (from my stash) to her dress and two Back To Basics Rose Enamel Hearts which completed the card front.

For the inside, I adhered a panel cut from the Back to Basics Rose Collection Pack. I added two smaller panels and a strip cut from Basis White cardstock, then stamped the sentiment (from the same Little Cowgirl Sentiments stamps) in black ink.

And one more look… I really love how this card turned out! The products in this new release are amazing and so fun to work with! You can’t go wrong with a cowgirl-themed birthday card! ;)
